Love who I am

I've often wondered "What is it about me?"
The guys never seem to notice me
They always go after the girls with the loud mouths
The easy ones who will let them hit without a doubt
Guys say they want a good girl but they must be all talk
I'm a good girl who's been sitting here waiting without luck
If I threw away my morals maybe I'd be adored
I could buy his attention, it wouldn't be too much to afford
And if I danced like a stripper he'd be asking for my number
Rather than admiring my mind, he'd be admiring my figure
These are changes I'm not willing to make
And it often feels like being myself is a big mistake
I hope there's a guy out there in search of my qualities
So I can finally love who I am with no apology
