Stephanie's POV:

I tried to remember things about Hypothermia like usually occurs from exposure to low temperatures, and is frequently complicated by alcohol, like i pass.

Any condition that decreases heat production, increases heat loss, or impairs thermoregulation, however, may contribute.

Thus, hypothermia risk factors include: any condition that affects judgment (hypoglycemia),

the extremes of age, poor clothing, chronic medical conditions (such as hypothyroidism and sepsis),

substance abuse, homelessness, and living in a cold environment. I didn't had any clothes, he gave to me the date rape drug (GHD) like the first time with a syringe and after gave me to drank vodka.

Hypothermia also occurs frequently in major trauma.

I was kidnapped, raped, i sunked and finally he bumped me in a agresive form that was for me a big trauma.

Hypothermia is also observed in severe cases of anorexia nervosa, i'm not considerer for me an anorexic person, but a lot of people think i'm cause i'm very thin.

My mom was one of those peoples who always control me about my weight and this mad me a lot, but now in this moment i miss her so much.

Only i can hear the voice of my love Mat far away from me, like a whisper, like a pray but i couldn't understood what he says.

"Stephanie stay with me, please don't let me, i make a promise to your mom to bring to her alive and i love so much my smart and beauty kiddo. Don't dead please, do this for your mom and for me ok?. Damn Stephy react!!".

Joe Mantegna still talk with the woman voice of 911, and he start to turn more angry.

"Ma'am can you understand or not? we need you to tell us about a hospital near here maybe in a town cause we're two hours far away from the city or an ambulance who can bring the fiancée of my friend to a hospital cause she is very ill".

"Ok sir, near you're about an hour with 10 minutes you find a town call Elizabethtown at the county of Essex the other is Duane another town at the county of Franklin about 50 minutes near you're. I'm call an ambulance inmediatly who bring the teenager to Saint Rachel's Hospital in Duane. This hospital have the instruments, the defibrillator, a good rooms of surgery and the best staff of Drs. About 20 minutes the ambulance come to carry her an her fiancée. Sorry, for the bad time sir. Bye".

"Ok, don't worry thank's for everything. Bye". - And Joe following talk. "The ambulance come in 20 minutes to carrying Stephanie and Mat to Saint Rachel's Hospital in Duane".

"I hope Stephanie can holding this time cause her temperature decrease at the state of severe, 20-28 °C (68-82 °F)".

And another thing i remember is

the normal human body temperature in adults is

34.4-37.8 °C (94-100 °F).

Sometimes a narrower range is stated, such as 36.5-37.5 °C (98-100 °F).

Hypothermia is defined as any body temperature below 35.0 °C (95.0 °F). It is subdivided into four different degrees, mild 32-35 °C (90-95 °F); moderate, 28-32 °C (82-90 °F); severe, 20-28 °C (68-82 °F); and profound at less than 20 °C (68 °F).

This is in contrast to hyperthermia

and fever which are defined as a temperature of greater than 37.5 °C (99.5 °F)-38.3 °C (100.9 °F).

Matthew's POV:

I saw how the face of Stephanie's turns more pallid and transparent,

her pulse was weak and her heart was beating timidly.

"Hey kid, i hope your fiancée get better" - Joe told me.

"Thank's Joe".

"She's so pretty like a beautiful freeze queen" - Kirsten Vangsness said.

"I hope she's no stay in this state so much and she completly recover her health" - i said to Kirsten.

Meanwhile the ambulance come on road before to arrive at the place we're, i monitoring the heart of Stephanie, but she can't breath more and she have a

cardiorespiratory attack cause i can't hearing her heartbeats.

"She can't breath, she have a cardiorespiratory attack". - I said to my friends and i start to make to her a CPR, pumping over her chest in her heart 4 times and blowing air into her lungs, 'the kiss of life' to my sweetie partner and my lovely fiancée.

"Come on sweatheart, come on Stephy, you can do it, you can coping with all of this. React babe, react; come on beauty do this for your mom and for me please, don't leave me alone. Please dear wake up, we can coping with this together cause i'm here and i stay with you always".

I stay with her to will follow the maneuver until the ambulance finally arrived.

"At least you come" - i told them.

The paramedics come with the

stretcher, take Stephanie an put gently over it.

"Who is the fiancée of the young woman?" - One of the paramedics with blue eyes and a toast skin ask.

"I'm the fiancée of Stephanie, my name is Matthew. Can i come with her to Saint Rachel's Hospital?"

"Of course sir come and join us to the hospital".

"Bye, come with yours cars, follow the ambulance and AJ use my car". - And i threw the keys of my car to AJ.

Into the ambulance the paramedics use the defibrillator and i make CPR too to my kiddo.

Finally with the both maneuvers, we can stabilizases her and now the hypothermia was another thing more difficult and i start to asked them. "Do you have blankets here? Can you bring them? cause she has hypothermia and she needs all the blankets you have for control the temperature of her body and make it a normal temperature".

They bring to me all the blankets their have, finally i could count 10.

And i put them over my lover girl to stabilizases her body temperature.

My kiddo, my sweet Stephanie in the road to the hospital i squeezes her hair, i kiss her cheecks and kiss her sensual lips, who always drove me crazy.

At least we came to Saint Rachel's Hospital in Duane and they carry her to the stretcher into the hospital.

When we arrived to Saint Rachel's Hospital inmediatly they bring her to the surgery room, they put in her arm a erythropoietin syringe an then he started to make a reconstructive surgery at the damage part of her head, they continue monitoring her heart beats and her breath. When they finished about 2 hours, the Drs. told me about the successful surgical operation, the good results on it and how they can stabilizases her temperature and bring to a normal state; but then they told me again about the risks of the operation and one of this is she's gonna turns deaf maybe for a while or forever. Oh Gosh, what happen if Stephanie turns completely deaf and not for a while maybe for ever? Can she coping with this problem or she can't?

Only i stay there and wait, deaf or not i love her forever and i gonna wait to her adulthood and i gonna married to her to my love Stephanie.

When the Drs. told me when she awoke, i come to her and i squeezes her hand and i gave to her a passionate kiss, she open her eyes and she bring to me her beautiful smile with her white teeths.

"Hi Stephanie how are you?"

But she couln't gave to me an answer.

I saw her piercing gaze and her frightened eyes asking me answers

and i knew something was wrong.

She was totally deaf in that moment and she knew that, then she starting cry but not for a long time and then she wrote to me a note.

'Honey can you bring to me a book who learning sign american language and a book who learning how you can read the lips please? Thank you for everything Mat and don't worry for me a lot babe cause i'll be fine'.

How i don't worry for her? How i can't do this? Cause she's my love and a depresive young woman who need all the help we can bring to her, her mom and me.
