"I killed it," I whispered to Louise. Her and I were sat in Costa having a very nice chat. Talking to her just made me realise how silly I was being. I was being quite silly.
"Chummy, you have to let it go. You didn't kill anything," Louise said with a smile.
I had decided to stay in London with Alfie, I would always get to visit my brother and dad, but right now I needed to be with Alfie.
"Thank you so much Louise, you don't understand how much you have helped me," I said with a large smile. I took another sip of my hot choclate, finishing it off. "I just don't really know where life is going to take me anymore. So much has happened since Alfie and I got together..." I trailed off, a sudden realization coming to mind.
Alfie asked me to marry him and I was suddenly feeling better about my life. Realizing that I had blown everything out of proportion. I wasn't moving to America, I was staying here. With Alfie, so why shouldn't I marry him? There was nothing stopping me, nothing at all.
"Louise, I want to marry Alfie."
Louise's mouth split into a evil grin. "Oh ya another wedding!" I knew how long Louise had wanted me to get married for. She had always wanted to plan a wedding. But I didn't want to have a wedding. I just wanted to get married. There wasn't any need to have a stressful party. The only thing that counted was our love, and why would I need to have a big celebration to show that?
"No, Louise, I want to get married today. And I need you to be our witness."

Me and Louise made it back to the apartment and started to do my makeup. I kept it simple since it was summer, but Louise helped to make it elegant. I found an old summer dress from a few years ago that fit me perfectly. It was white and had intricate eyelet detailing. There was a thick blue sash that tied around the waist and tied in a big bow at the back. I loved it.
I put my hair half up with some flower pins and put on a simple rose gold necklace. I slipped on the ring Alfie gave me, what felt months ago, onto my right hand and stepped into some silver flats covered in glitter. Yes, this was Louise's idea. I was planning on wearing black flats, but she disapproved.
We both walked into the living room and sat down. Then a billion thoughts came to my mind. We hadn't talked to anyone at the courthouse, Alfie still didn't know. What if he said no. "Louise," I started to say but then the door opened.
Alfie walked in.
"Hello!" Louise said cheerily.
Suddenly all of the pressure was on me. I could sense it in the air. "Alfie will you marry me?" I said.
______________
That's how we ended up at the courthouse. That's how I ended up saying "I do," and that's how I ended up getting married to the love of my life. Alfie and I were finally married. Everything that had lef up to this moment, was washed away the moment his lips touched mine. All of the worries, the troubles. They were all gone. For the time being at least.
Louise was the only one at our 'wedding' and I thought that that was perfect. Alfie agreed. Everything really had gone right in the end. Jack and I had become friends again. I was on speaking terms with Finn. I was staying in London, with my husband and everyone was happy.
It's good to know that sometimes happy endings do happen in real life. And I am so glad of that.
