I kissed Zoe Sugg. I kissed my best friend and the person I had been in love with for about two years. I kissed her. The moment would have been perfect, but then Tanya came out and told us that Joe was hurt. This got Zoe all in a fiddle and I decided to go home with her to check up on him. We had just seen him, he had to be okay.

Jim drove me and Zoe to the train station and said goodbye to us. "We'll come back when we can to finish filming," I said. Zoe just tugged me along, eager to get home. I knew that the hour and half trainride would be agony for her. I waved and Jim and Tanya as they receded into the background of people.

We had managed to catch a train right away and we were both sitting, not talking. Zoe had her arms wrapped around me and her head was snuggled into my chest. She was silently crying, freaking out about what had happened to Joe. Her mother had been the one who had texted her, she hadn't said what had happened to Joe though. I knew that this was what was worrying Zoe the most.

After the train ride, Zoe ran off and groaned. "Alfie, how are we getting to the hospital? If we call a cab it will take ages to get here." I sighed and thought about this, she was right. Zoe lived in the middle of nowhere and there wasn't going to be a bus to take us to the hospital.

"We will just have to call a cab and hope for the best," I said softly. Zoe was still clinging to my arm trying to stay strong. We made our way over to a bench and sat down waiting for the car to come and take us to the hospital. I wanted to talk to Zoe, tell her how excited I was that she liked me, but I knew that know would be the wrong time. Instead, I just kissed her on the forehead and stroked her hair.

After about a thirty minute wait, our cab came. Zoe ran ahead and hopped in, I slid in next to her. She pulled out her phone and told her mother that she was on her way to the hospital. We were silent for a while, and I was about to say something comforting when Zoe spoke, her words often interupted by small hiccuping sobs.

"I just knew something bad would happen to him, I just knew it," she blubbered. "Everything always happens to him, and oh Alfie, thank goodness you're here." She clung closer to me and I smiled.

"I'm glad I'm here too." The cab pulled up to the hospital and I paid the fees while Zoe grabbed her purse and hopped out, she started to shiver in the cold. I got out of the car and wrapped my arms around her to shleter her from the wind. We started to walk, and were soon engulfed by the warm air inside of the building. The hospital smelled of disinfectant and death, I didn't like it.

Zoe was at a loss for words and couldn't talk, so I was the one who asked the lady at the desk where Joe was. She told us that he was on the third floor and we slowly made our way up the stairs to see him. Zoe ran ahead of me and towards the open door. We could see her parents and I followed her in. I was greeted by a gruesome sight. Joe, lying on the bed with his face cut up, and a very, very large cut on his leg. He was asleep, or unconcious, I couldn't tell and his breathing was very shallow.

"He's been in a car accident," Zoe's mother said not even taking notice of me. Zoe walked to Joe's side and stroked his face, she shivered and backed away from him.

"He's so cold mum," she whispered. She walked over to me and grabbed my hand. I squeezed hers reassuringly.

"Everything will be okay," I whispered into her ear.
