[2] "Cody I am so sorry..."

⚪️2 Years Later⚪️

I sat on the floor playing with dolls when I heard a roar. My head snapped in the direction of the door as I saw Daddy rushing in the door with a blanket on his head and I laughed as he came and 'gobbled me up'. I shrieked with laughter and Daddy tickled me.

"Stop! Ahh! Stop! Go Scary Dragon!" I laughed as he kept making roar noises. I then heard growling so Daddy and I looked up to see Luke growling. Daddy decided to start tickling me again earning another shriek of laughter.

"Luke! Get him!" I yelled when he tickled my sides. Then Luke suddenly attacked. He bit down on his arm as a warning to him. Daddy said a bad word word under his breath and grumbled lowly. "Don't bite me!" He scolded him and Luke ran into my lap and growled some more.

"Luke, Don't do that, Daddy's right." Dada nodded before leaving. I then raced downstairs and I went into the kitchen. "Today's your birthday too! I got you two years ago!"

I held up two fingers showing them to Luke. He barked while following me before I tapped on Mommy. "Mommy, don't forget Luke's cake!" She giggled before leaning down and patting Luke's head.

I felt a pang of jealousy as Luke purred. I sent a glare at Mommy. He's mine. "I wont. Don't worry Sweetie." She then turned and continued making whatever she had been making. "Come Luke! Lets go play in the snow!"

My mood changed as he yipped. I cheered before running off to get my jacket. Luke hopped after me as I opened the door. I stomped in the snow before picking up a snowball and tossing it to Luke.He jumped up and caught it in his mouth.

"Hey! Theres Amber! C'mon Boys!" I turned when I heard a familiar voice and saw Cody, Cameron, Logan and Alex. "Hey,Guys!" I smile as they run over. I hug Cody and grin but then Luke lets out a furious growl. "Calm down Luke.He's not going to hurt you or I." I giggle parting from Cody.

"Want to play snowball fight with us???" Alex asked excitedly. I grinned wider while nodding. Luke barked at me and so I sigh before picking up his small fragile body and bringing him inside. He immediately becomes happy but then visibly sad when I mumble: "Sorry Luke. You just, Well you growl at all my friends."

Then I shut the door behind me as he attempt to run out with me. I run over to the boys as they shouted in cheers that I was gonna play. Cody is my neighbor right in front of my house so Mommy lets me go over there. We ran across the street and started building our snow barrier walls.

Cameron, Logan, and Alex was going to be on team red, so Cody and I are on team blue. (We used a stick and gloves to label the teams.)

"Ready! Set! Go!!!" Then we quickly grabbed the already built snowballs and attack the other team. We are all laughing as Cody and I duck as the three of them shoot snowballs at us. I smirked as he nodded and covered me.

He went to the side running and throwing snowballs as if his life depended on it and they were distracted so I ducked while running over to their side. I picked up three snowballs and squeezed it on their head as it ran down their backs.

"AHHH!! YOU CHEATERS!" Alex screamed. "COLD!COLD!COLD!" Logan yelled. "WHAT THE HECK!!!!! AMBER!!!!!" Cameron shrieks. They jumped and did funny dances as they squirmed in their jackets. Cody and I were laughing our heads off with tears in our eyes.

"Happy Birthday Am!" Cody laughed as we heard my Mommy. "Amber, C'mon! Its time to get ready for the party!" I nodded excitedly and gave each of them a hug. I held the snow above Cody's back as the boys snickered while nodding.

I squeezed it and Cody screamed while I ran. "AMBER!! GET OVER HERE!!" I laughed as he chased me across the street.BI ran past Mommy and ran up the stairs as Cody followed.

"HELP!!! AHHH!!MOMMY!! CODY'S GONNA GET ME!!!" I heard Mama laugh and close the doors before I heard loud growling and a scream. I skidded to a stop and ran back down stairs as I saw a small pup latched onto Cody's arm. "AMBER! GET HIM OFF ME!"

Cody yelled in agony. I gasped and hit Luke's nose as he whimpered and fell to the ground. "Cody!I am so sorry..-Your arm!!" I gasped. His arm was all bloody and the bite marks were really visible.

"BAD LUKE! GO!" I yelled at him and Luke whimpered while jumping up the stairs to my room. "Cody, I am so sorry.." I whispered as Mommy ran in with a first aid kit.

I don't know what happened to Luke..He's growling at all my friends..
