⚪️Two Years Later⚪️

I finished checking my appearance before letting out a breath.Today, My sweet 16..."My babygirl..." Mom whispered while tears could be seen in the corner of her eyes."Mom, it's not like I'm moving out or something..." Then something small landed a tight grip on my leg. Roseanne, my 4 year old niece looked up at me and I smiled."I like your dress auntie!" She exclaimed and that made me grin more. "I like yours too Rose!" She giggled as I lifted her up.

My dress was knee-high,all blue, a belt- and a small sparkly bow on it, with jewels over the top. I have white heels, which makes me taller because I'm short, I have my bracelet Cody gave me yesterday, and my crystal tiara. My makeup, I put brown and light eye shadow to give a shadow look, and light pink lipstick. I put my hair up in a clip and flipped it again, I then put my tiara in. I had my essentials in my hand purse like my iPhone and whatnot.

"Ready?" Mom asks. I nodded and placed Roseanne down. I took in a deep breath before glancing at my reflection again. I was ready. I took mom's stretched out hand before we walked to the ball room.  I still couldn't believe mom and dad could afford that. Then again, my dad works a lot, I barely even see him.

I heard the music slowing down. Then it was quiet. Mom gave me a reassuring smile and opened the doors. I gasped at everything. It's incredible. "It's...beautiful!" I said when every one suddenly jumped out. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBER!" I gasped as tears were brought to my eyes.

I covered my mouth with my hands before I was attacked with hugs. I hugged each and everyone whispering: thank you's, this is incredible's and I love you's.

I finally got to Cody."Happy Sweet 16 A!" He said as I hugged him. "Thank you C. It's amazing how long you've been here." He smiled and hugged me tighter before letting go.

I wiped my tears from eyes and a bark whipped across the room. My head snapped towards the sound as done everyone else. "Oh look at my handsome bud!" I cooed as I saw Luke in a tux. It was funny the things the made for dogs. I sat on my knees as Luke came running over to me. I wrapped him in a hug as soon as he slammed into me. "Happy 16th birthday Luke." I hugged him tighter and I heard aww's go around the room.

I giggled and let him go. "Go have fun." I mumbled to him before giving him a wolf high five.

We all danced and belted to the lyrics of the Party Rock Anthem. We were all having a good time! "Hello Baby." I turned and saw my Dad in a tux with his arms open. "Daddy.You made it!" I run into his arms and when I engulfed him in a hug, my dress swayed past him at the speed I was going.

"Of course I would, it's my baby's sweet 16!" I grinned at him before I heard Cody's voice. "Hello Mr. Anderson. May I take your daughter out with some friends?" Dad nodded but looked him in the eye before stating: "No later than Midnight."

Cody nodded before grasping my hand and dragging me away." Cody, who are these... Friends?" I asked curious. "Vannessa, Alex, Mark, Otis, Hazel, Leslie, and Bryce."

I nodded trying to remember all the names. Wait- Bryce? Never met him. "We are going to stop by your place. Change into something that'll keep you warm."

"Ready?" Cody asked still covering my eyes. I nodded excitedly before he moved his hands and a pair of ice skates sat in front of me. "Cody!You shouldn't have." I said picking them up."There's no fun without trying them on!" He chuckled. I grinned as I turned and saw a big frozen lake.
