"Mama." I hummed a response to Winter. "When are we going home?" I glanced to the side, not lifting my head from the pillow. "Soon baby." Nodding, she snuggled back into my furry stomach. I had been thinking about it often. I missed my mate but I always got stubborn and ran away. I can't do that anymore. I have to finalize this and stay there.

I'm determined to act like a proper alpha and face challenges. Sighing, I mind linked my brother. I didn't talk to my parents often, only when they requested it or when we ate together, etc. "I'm thinking about taking her back," I told him. "Are you sure? Are you ready?I mean, you didn't even tell him."

Am I ready to tell Bryce I am pregnant? I can imagine his reaction now.

I arrived and stepped up to his wolf. He stared down at me before he shifted asking me to shift. I couldn't. "I cannot shift back." He would question why. "Because I am holding your pup." He would be silent and soon look kind of mad. "What the hell?" He would bark. "Is it even mine?! We only mated once!"

"I..." I am scared to even say anything, but I cannot hide forever, it is his rightful place to know. I put it off for too long. I looked down at Winter as my answer confirmed itself. "I am ready."

I'm done being naive. I have a life to take control of.

I walked behind my pup as she hopped around. A few guards smiling as I kept my eyes ahead. I was to conflicted on how I should tell my mate of our upcoming baby. My fur bristled as I let out a sigh and one of the guards took notice.

"Princess? What is the issue?" I narrowed my eyes on my pup as I listened with perked ears. "Just thinking about my mate is all." He looked at me funny like. I finally looked away to look at the orange-reddish wolf beside me.

"What is there to be looking so down about then?" I smiled lightly at his concern as I shoved him very lightly. "So worried? I haven't exactly told him-"

A growl was let out and suddenly an amount of 5-10 guards stood in front and around Winter and I. My pup was at my paws instantly and a few wolves growled in response and suddenly a growling fest was going on.

I picked up Winter and walked forward. My eyes sparkled gold making the guards step to the side as I came face to face with an alpha male.

The growling ceased and I looked up at the brown wolf that stood before me. He was stiff with his own ears perked. "Mine!"He barked out in an open mind link. I placed down my pup as Luke's golden eyes gleamed as I let my own shine.

"Bryce," I murmured and he suddenly wrapped me into his paws and breathed in my scent. "Mine." Luke whispered into my link. "Mine." I replied.

My writers block has been horrible! Not to mention school work and such but thankfully it's coming to an end! I have around two to three weeks of school left!
