My Best Friend Is My Mate [Rewriting?]

[23] "Hello Jessabelle."

I suddenly felt very small as I saw all eyes on us. I let a breath out and held my breath.

"Do you really want this? This has got to stop. Now. And here. " I watch as she turns to me and raises her paw. Wait what?

"I, Melissa Hill McCarthy, Declare peace and wolf-ship to you, Amber Violet Anderson for a decade." I stare at her paw hesitating lifting mine. I glanced towards the wolves as they watched waiting for my response.

I looked at Bryce and he stared as did Sin with wide eyes. His eyes then hit mine. He glared confirming it was not right. Yet I had to seal the deal. I looked at Melissa again.

I lifted my right paw once more and with more determination, I shook her paw. "I, Amber Violet Anderson, Accept this declare of peace and wolf-ship, to you, Melissa Hill McCarthy for a decade." Howls went up as I confirmed it and suddenly I felt a deep feeling in my gut.

Something is off. "Let us celebrate this in the ball room!" I announced and every wolf rushed to the ballroom. I heard Sin growling. "You will regret this Melissa." He lifted his claws and she whimpered.

"Don't you fucking dare Sin." I growled standing in front of her. She is impregnated with his pups yet he still will hurt her. He glared before walking away. "You, me, talk. Now." Bryce growled.

I let out a breath and nodded before following his lifted black midnight tail. Then something caught my ear as it turned. I glanced and saw him. I raised my shackles and looked at Bryce. He wasn't paying attention.

So as quietly as I could, I swiftly darted towards the woods. I finally got to it and chased after his white tail. I growled and snapped at his tail. I will NOT let him get away. We came back to the river where I finally took his tail in my mouth and planted my butt down. I growled as he kept pulling me and my ass still planted down hurting.

The more he dragged the more I hurt so I couldn't bare it I yelped and bit hard on his tail drawing blood to my muzzle and his white tail. He cried a loud yelp and it stung to hear him.

He sat down and snapped at me before I let go. He had already bit me as I went to let go so I let a whimper out as my snout drew blood from his teeth. Suddenly Crescent growled inside me and without warning, took over.

My vision turned a mixture of gold and red as she growled at him. I had no control over my actions the next few moments. His wolf took over two as his eyes flashed gold and red too. They circled each other as I tried to push through.

Crescent pounced and growled as he barked at her. She jumped onto him and took his neck into her mouth not daring to let go. He whimpered but tried to bite her before rolling over.

He then knocked me down and stood atop me and immideatly took my neck in his jaw and bit down. No... I shifted as he bit down harder as I gained control over Crescent. She tried to fight for control but I backed her down.

"C-Cha.. Sto..." Lights faded and it hurt to talk. I tried to speak but I couldn't. Soon I couldn't breathe and I tried pushing Chase off but I was to weak. I took my final breath as my eyes fluttered close. I heard shouting and felt tear drops land on me.

"ABR! DN OOO! mm ory!"("AMBER DONT GO! IM SORRY!")" His voice sounded weird as I couldn't get his words clearly. Soon everything was gone and all I heard was silence. Blackness everywhere and silence.

That's all I got. I then saw a light. A light that I walked towards. I stood under it and nothing happened. I opened my mouth and nothing came out. I tried to talk, yell- scream- anything! Nothing happened. Tears rolled down my cheeks as another light appeared but something was under it.

I hesitantly walked towards it holding my sobs in. I saw something brown. I bent down and picked it up as a small bear with a chewed out eye and scratched arm laid limp.

What is happening to me. What is this.  Another light appeared and another item was sitting there. I walked towards it and picked up the silver heart locket. I opened it and saw a little baby. She had blonde hair and brown eyes. She was hugging this bear I was holding currently but it looked new.

In the other picture she was with what seemed her mother. They were smiling brightly with the mother kissing her cheek. The girl was laughing.

I was confused. Why did she look so familiar? The tears stopped now as curiosity took control. Another light appeared and nothing sat there. I walked towards it before stepping into the light. Suddenly everything went dark and I hugged the poor bear with my life.

Light faded around me as things appeared. Trees, sun, grass, giggles, barks, and a playground. I looked around before walking to the playground. Where am I? Then I saw her.

The little girl was laughing with the bear. She looked at her mom and saw her mom on the phone. She was busy and the little girl frowned. She lowered her head and I walked towards her. I bent down to her level but a to much familiar voice forced me to look away.

"Hello Jessabelle. My name is Charles." She looked up at him as I gaped at him. "Hi!" She said cheerfully. "Where is mommy?" He asked. She frowned and pointed towards the mom. He secretly smiled and when she looked back at him he frowned.

"How about you come back with me, I have some candy in my van." No.. No, why is he doing this? My dad is going to kidnap this little girl. She nodded excitedly and hopped after him. I tried to tell her: 'No stop!' But nothing came out again. Everything faded black as I tried to yell and then it faded into the parking lot.

She was clapping her hands happily as he opened the back doors. "Wait, where's the cand- AHHHH!" I gasped and held my hands to my mouth as he pushed her into the truck. Mom pulled her in and clamped a hand over her mouth. "Dad! Stop! Wh.." I croaked out trying to yell but it came out in talk.

I heard banging and her screaming. I was frozen in place when I heard the familiar voice. "Jessabelle! Jessabelle where are you?!" Her mother screaming for her very worried.

Suddenly the van drove off and I felt hatred, sadness, and I don't even know anymore.  "WHY ARE YOU SHOWING ME THIS!" I finally screamed and everything just turned black. No lights or fading. It just disappeared in a blink.

"WHY?! What did I do to deserve this?" I sobbed as it started to hurt to talk once again. "Why..?" I whispered. Suddenly, I figured it out. I stood up and wiped my tears.

"Why are you showing me my past?"

Okey Dokey everyone! If you saw my last post, You would know this used to be called My Best Friend Is My Mate or MBFIMM. I know it isn't anymore but it really didn't fit the whole concept for the ending of the book. No I don't believe it will be sending any time soon.
