[11] The Ball (Part1)

I walked down the hall slowly on purpose by looking at the art designing the hall walls. It was quite interesting if I must say myself. Finally, I reached his doors and I sucked in a breath. My eyes gazed over the knob before my fingertips touch it. My hand finally grasped it and turned before I peaked in.

Surprisingly, I saw no one. "B-Bryce?" I ask curiously. No response. I stepped in and called his name again. "Bryce, Are you in here?" Still, no response.I sighed and walked over to the bed. At moments like these, I wanted Luke. I wanted to cuddle and let his scent engulf me.

Tears prickled in my eyes as I thought of him. My family. Dad. Tears streamed down my face. He tried killing my best friend.

I sucked up a breath before let out a shaky one. Knock Knock. "Amber?" My head shot up to see Kylie. "Are you okay...?" Kylie mumbled closing the door silently and taking steps towards me cautiously as if I would break. In this case, I believe I would too.

"Y-Yes. I'm just thinking. I'm sorry... I really am." She made a pouty face before finally reaching me. "Stop blaming yourself. It wasn't your fault in anyway. It was mine for over reacting and to be honest, I'd do it again for you." I smiled at her through my tears before her hand went up to my cheeks.

She wiped my tears and made a smile. "Now clean yourself up. You may not understand some stuff but I don't think you want your pack to see you like this." I made a funny face. "You guys act as if you were wolves. " She shrugged and stood before placing her hands out. I looked at her through my eye lashes before taking her hands and letting her pull me up.

"Now Bryce is dumb, lets forget about him and lets get ready for the ball." I nodded and she led me to the bathroom before leaving me alone. I looked at the mirror and my eyes went wide. God my eyed were red and puffy.

I wiped my sweaty hands and twisted the knob while hearing music blasting from her doors. I held in a laugh and stepped in watching the girls have a pillow fight. Kylie hit the pillow hard at Laura and she hit the floor but instead of acting hurt, they laughed.

I closed the door and walked over concerned. "Are you okay Laura?" I helped her up and she kept laughing while nodding her head. "I'm okay Amber." She reassured me and I started laughing after seeing her black hair in a poof.

"Lets fix your hair girls." I chuckle and they ran over to the mirror taking in the odd sight. They were quiet for about ten seconds until, "HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAA!" They burst into laughter and I clutched my stomach while bending over.

"W-Wow!" I laughed out and snorted.

We finally recovered from our laughing fits, 20 minutes later, I know! Wow. "G-Girls, we only an hour to get ready!!!" Kylie gasped and our eyes went wide.

They raced to get the dresses and I ran to the hairdresser. I grabbed all hair accessories and we got to work.

"Done!" Laura shouted fixing her dress. They look magnificent! "Now its time for YOUR dress Luna." Isabel said absently minded. They pushed me into the walk-in closet and I glanced down. Those beaches already look at my outfit.

I sighed and stripped down before putting on a strap-less bra and putting a matching bottom. Then I slid on the dress and gloves. I slid on my mask that the girls had made and was shocked. It looked amazing!

Next I slipped on my white heels that the bands went up my leg. Then I pulled on my infinity ring and my heart and key bracelet before grabbing my handbag.

I stepped out before spraying light perfume on and looking at the girls. They nodded and was in awe before I ushered them out. I took my mask off and put my lipstick and checked my makeup in the hall mirror before freezing.

My eyes glanced back at the girls as they were walking down the corridor while gossiping and getting excited.

I sighed and thought about actions. Do I really want to do this? "Amber? Are you alright?" I heard a voice snapping out of my thoughts. "What?" I asked absent mindedly. "Are you ready?" She asked, I nodded and straightened out my dress. We continued walking till we walked up to a door with guards and the girls stopped.

"Ready Girls?" We nodded and they opened the ball room doors.

Hello everyone! I am so sorry for not being on for a week! I was grounded- but I am back! I will be writing again so be prepared!
