So i have yet to come out to my parents and family, so I'm gonna talk about telling my friends. I'm 13, pan, and live in a sorta homophobic area. the first friend that I told was actually really supportive and sweet. Later he surprised me by coming out too. Then, I decided to tell my absolute "best friend." so I sorta sat her down and was all like "heyy um I'm not as straight as you thought." at first she was okay with it but later on she began to ignore me. But I made new friends who support me and don't care about my sexuality. My parents are very supportive of the LGBT+ community, so I just have to find the courage to tell them.
