I am bisexual. I told my mom I was bisexual slowly in small sessions kind of. First, a few weeks before I actually told her, I explained to her I wasn't Christian, but that I didn't have anything against them. Then, I slowly dropped hints over the week I wanted to talk to her about it. We have a farm, so we were cleaning barn, and I stopped cleaning and asked her if I could tell her something, then I explained that I was different than a good portion of people. She got a little edgy, and eventually some 20 minutes later I flat out told her "mom, I am bisexual." At first, she ignored it. Then a few days later, I brought up the subject again, and she kind of started screaming at me and asked me if I could see myself sleeping with another woman. I mean, I could, but I want to love a person for who they are, not their gender, so I said "yes I can." She was disgusted, and 3 weeks later, even though I'm not sure she accepts me yet, my boyfriend and my father are very supportive of my choices, and I've been very happy living my open life.
