I was already out as bi and my mom never really reacted but my dad always said I was too young to know, so when I then came out as gay he freaked out saying that I was too young, that he believed I was straight, but he had his first girlfriend when he was 13 but when I brought that up, he went silent before saying that that was because straight was the norm/the default. We haven't spoken about it in months. About 3 weeks ago I came out as genderfluid to him as sort of a f*ck you for not accepting me as gay. Let's just say he didn't react well but luckily he copes with stuff by ignoring the problem. I'm still constantly misgendered and called by my extremely feminine birth name...
