Me and my mom have these "talks." Like really deep talks. So one night me and my mom were down stairs after watching some Netflix and I had been wanting to come out to her for a long time. I knew she supported the gay community, because we had talked about it before. She was on her computer, and I finally got enough courage to say: "Mom, have you ever questioned your sexuality?" And she replied a simple "No," and then she thought for a second and added, "have you?" And so then I told her I was pan. She didn't know what that was so I had to explain. At the end I was crying, and she was too, with tears of joy. She was so happy that I felt comfortable enough to talk to her about my sexuality. She has been amazing about this, and hasn't treated me differently at all. My family is very Christian, but she says that: "in the New Testament God Says that we shall love our neighbor and our enemies. It doesn't say we should turn our backs and not love those who have sinned, but to love them. I know God said that men and women should be together but as a result of sin coming into our world, men can't help but feel attracted to men and some women can't help but feel attracted to women. But that doesn't mean we should throw sticks and knifes at them, it means we should love them. And I love you."
