Abby’s p.o.v.

Two weeks in this school and I was known by all the teachers, the students and possibly half of the non-teaching staff.

Don’t ask…

Trouble has a way of always knocking on my door and as per usual I welcome it with loving arms. And I have to say it was pretty boring.

The teachers knew me because they all got a problem with me.

The students knew me well,

A)    Because the school’s football captain, “Preston” kept on talking to me every chance not even caring that half of the time I ignored him (no matter how hard ignoring him was) but truth is a part of me liked the whole Preston following me.

B)     Because I was always in trouble.

C)     And finally because I was number one enemy of Britney.

I was walking with Toni when suddenly I was grabbed by someone behind me. Turning to curse that person I found myself face to chest with what looked like Preston’s body. The tingles running through me came to life after all.

I tilted my head up to meet his amazing grey eyes.

For a moment I was speechless so was he as we stared at each other’s eyes like there was no one around us.

I had admitted to myself for almost a week now that I was attracted to him but I didn’t want to take it further. After all he was the alpha to be and I was the half wolf girl who did not like other full time wolves, right?

I shook my head. Ever since I met this boy my whole freaking mind has been turned into something I can’t fathom and…

“Abby....” Preston whispered pressing his lips near my ear. Oh lord! The butterflies in my stomach started doing their normal up and down movements like every other time he touched me. I could feel my heart accelerate and my head spinning wishing he would just kiss me already.

The last thought took me out of my trance. Kiss me?

Where had that idea come from?

“What?” I tried sounding normal but I failed.

I could feel his smirk on that handsome face of his as he said in a low voice only I could hear. “You know you are the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen right.”

“Oh please.”

He moved back and I saw his face. There was a hint of pain for a minute before his normal expression came. “One day you will believe me.”

“That will be the day…” the bell rand signalling us to go to our first classes. “Goodbye captain”

I know he hated when I called him captain but I did anyway. He didn’t let go of me and I had a feeling he had no plans to do so. “What now?”

“Say my name and I will let you go.”

“And if I don’t?”

His smirk was so tempting and for a second I wondered how it would feel to be kissed by him. “Well, I could hold you here forever.”

Really? I thought to myself.

I moved an inch closer to him. He was surprised because he knew I always ran from him as far as I could. Our eyes locked into each other’s completely. I smiled with every intention of teasing him so that he could lose his guard and that would be my chance to escape from his grip instead I found myself smiling truly, from within.
