Skype. Definitely. You can do anything and everything on Skype. Maybe in the A.M. when he's feeling lonely and under appreciated, and times when mr.hood needed to be appreciated, skype would do the job just fine.
It would hold you guys out until the next time you saw each other which would probably be a long ways away.

Ashton
When Ashton misses you, he would totally blow up all your social media with the cutest things!
Ashtons app would be instagram. Its a place for pictures and videos and sharing.
He'd always tag you in photos or videos of funny things, or couples videos doing cute things and ask you if you remember him doing this or that, guys just imagine it, its so cute.
And then he would tots make small songs about you and post them on the 5sos page or his page and always make you smile. INSTAGRAM

Yes Twitter we all see how much Luke uses it. So this is how i imagine it, everytime he would miss you, he would kinda hold it in, but show it at the same time.
Like he would post a lyric or just a quote, and you would just know. Its not like he told you directly, but everyone can tell yano? And the fam would think its so cute and everything.

He would even retweet things people have said that remind him of you.
It'd be so cute, when he would tweet you random things, or maybe he or you would start off a lyric and you would finish it and it would be lyfe.
And kinda like Ashton, he would either dm, or publicly post a link to anything or whatever that just makes him think of you. Thats really all. He just wants you to know he thinks about you every second of the day.

Okay so Mikes would be snapchat.
It makes perfect sense. You can even read my Ditto story lolz (self promo) its not that far back, but anyway, he would want you to see little parts of his day, like what hes doing and what hes thinking about. I feel like he would be the type of person to just like, sit down somewhere, and just talk. Almost like late night conversations, except its not late at night lol. He would totally take advantage of the new filter thingies on the camera, like he would tape dying his hair some color, and he would be playing music, and then he would send it to you or your story.
And a bit like calum, he would send nudes lets just be honest, dumb videos of him brushing his teeth, and he would even tape the other band mates, and sometimes get one of them to talk to you though snaps. Ahh...the power of snapchat.
