I awake way later than normal, and I then realize it's super quiet, which is unusual because normally I'm awoken by Dylan or someone else. The bright daylight slips through the window and falls across Kellin and I. Kellin's still asleep, and I decide not to wake him just yet. I put my head back on his chest and listen to the slow, rhythmic beating of his heart. I feel his arm pull me closer, and I snuggle into his side. He then pulls me even closer and begins to crush me into his side.

"You can't take her you bastards," I hear him mumble.

       "What?" I ask.

"NO! Back off!" he growls in his sleep. His other hand swats invisible attackers, and he kicks out at something.

"Kellin, wake up. You're having a bad dream," I say. He doesn't seem to hear me, so I try to pull away to shake him. He ends up just squeezing me tighter.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!" he bellows in his sleep.

"Kellin, please wake up. I can barely breathe," I wheeze trying to push him away.

"You touch her, and I'll rip your heads off," he says it so quietly and calmly it scares me. At this point I think my lungs are collapsing.

"Kellin, please wake up! You're crushing my lungs," I wheeze. He still sleeps, and I kick at his leg.

"Stop it," he growls squeezing me even tighter and kicking out.

"KELLIN WAKE UP!"I screech using the last of my oxygen. He sits up quickly, and he releases me when he sees my face.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" he exclaims. I fall back to the floor and gasp like a fish out of water. I cough and hack and feel like death is upon me. After several long, agony filled minutes I feel better and realize Kellin's looking at me in horror.

I'm fine. Don't worry about it," I say still panting a bit.

"I could've killed you though! I could've lost you because of that stupid dream of losing you! That's so ironic!" he exclaims as he starts shaking. I see the tears slowly trickling down his face, and I scoot over to him. I wrap my arms around him and pull him backwards into my lap.

"I said it's okay. You know why it's okay? Because I'm still alive," I say cradling him in my arms.

"But I still could've killed you. Plus I hurt you!" he practically screams at the top of his lungs.

"Shh, remember I can heal quickly. Plus you would've woken up before you killed me," I say smiling down at him.

"No, I was sleeping like the dead. I could've-" I stop him there.

"You, shush, now," I say and poke his nose. "Boop!"

"I don't want to shush though and don't touch my nose," he says with a little laugh. He wipes at his eyes to deter the tears.

"Boop!" I exclaim while poking his nose.

"I said don't touch my nose! If you do it again there will be consequences," he growls playfully.

"Boop!" I say poking him in the nose again. He again growls playfully and tackles me. He starts tickling me, and I start laughing so hard that it's difficult to breathe.

"This is your punishment for poking my nose," he says laughing. I writhe around trying to escape his hands that tickle me, but I only end up getting pinned down as he sits on my legs.

"Let me go! I can't breathe!" I gasp through bursts of laughter.

"I'll let you go this time, but you poke my nose again, and you better hope I never catch you," he says jokingly.

"I love you so much," I say smiling and looking him dead in the eyes. His pale blue eyes are sparkling like precious gems.

"I love you, too," he says as he smiles down at me. He leans in and kisses me. I kiss him back more passionately than I kissed Max, and Kellin seems to lose balance because he collapses on top of me. I don't care though and keep on kissing him. He pulls back, and we are both panting at different rates. We both have huge smiles on our faces, and it seems we can't get rid of them. He's still laying on top of me, but I don't really notice the weight. I feel something poke my thigh, but I ignore it as I stare into his eyes. There's a fire I've never known burning in me, and it seems like temptation is fueling that fire to get down and dirty. I manage to control myself as he kisses me, though. I can tell he has the same fire burning in him by the way he kisses me. He rolls over so I'm on top of him, and then he entangles his fingers in my hair as the kiss deepens, and I can feel myself starting to lose control a bit. A high pitched moan escapes my throat and is met by a deep, husky moan from him. I lose a little bit more control, and my hand slips from his cheek and trails down his body. I tug at his shirt hem trying to get it up and off of him. He helps me out by grabbing his shirt, pulling it up, breaking the kiss to get it off, and flinging it off onto the floor somewhere. He then pulls me back in, and his hands become entangled in my hair again. I trail a finger over his abs and trace all of them. He sucks in a sharp breath, and I pull back looking at him with concern.

       "What's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing. I'm fine," he says. I realize a strange look has appeared in his eyes, and I'm tempted to kiss him again. I glance at his lips, and he tugs me back down. This time though as we are kissing I hear footsteps and pull back.

"Is that Dylan?" I ask after listening for a few seconds.

"Yeah. Where's my shirt?" he asks. He and I look around, and I spot it first. I run over, grab it, and throw it to him. Less than fifteen seconds after he gets it on Dylan walks in. Kellin and I look at each other and act like nothing was going on.

"Heeeey, Dylan, what's up?" I ask trying to calm my breathing.

"What in the world, are you okay?" he asks.

"What you mean? I'm perfectly fine," I ask.

"Well first you're panting. Second you are acting weird," he says.

"Nah, I'm just fine. Now, what's up?" I ask.

"Um, Max is taking a turn for the worse. He requested to see you," Dylan says. I look at him in disbelief.

"Please, tell me all this is a joke, and he's going to walk in any second," I say.

"Sadly, it's not. He asked that you went alone though," Dylan says.

"Okay, thank you. I'm going," I say to Dylan, and then I turn to Kellin and say, "I'll be back." I turn and walk from the room. I soon break into a sprint for the infirmary. I crash into corners and walls as I make quick turns, and I just barely dodge a person who's walking with food. When I arrive in the infirmary I go straight to Max.
