"Hey, wake up," I hear the voice, but ignore it. "Wake up!" I'm dragged off of my seat and smack my head. I jump up in defense mood and realize it's just Zoe. That's when my head starts throbbing where I hit it.

"You jerk! I could've just split my head open!" I exclaim as I look around. I see that we're having a bathroom break, so I get off and head inside. When I get inside I head straight to the bathroom. I do my business and walk back to the bus. I check my watch and realize it's only been an hour. I groan and flop back down to sleep. Max looks at me when he gets back on, and I look back with an annoyed look on my face. He looks confused so I point to the bruise that's formed on my forehead. A look of understanding comes onto his face, and he nods and sits down next to me. We talk about things that have went on after we last saw each other. When others start getting on we start to end our conversation, and as soon as Zoe gets on Max switches to his seat, and I lay down. I lay there trying to sleep for what feels like forever. I check my watch and realize it's only been ten minutes. I then realize we are at a standstill in traffic. I feel a hand on my shoulder and my blue eyes shoot open. I turn getting ready to yell at Zoe for waking me, but then I realize it's Max and sit up. He points out the window, and I see the herd of American Bison in the field close to the bus.

"They're so big and beautiful," I say in awe and happiness.

"I knew you'd like to see them. Anyway go on back to sleep 'cause we are going to be here awhile. There's been a wreck," Max says, and I lay back down falling into a deep sleep.

"Oh, looky here! I've found you guys again," the voice says. I know that voice, and it's enough to wake me up. I sit up and look at who said it. It's the same boy who interrupted Max's and my hug last time we were together.

"Oh my gosh I thought I'd never see you again," I growl.

"I'm so happy to see you too. Maybe I can get another hug," he says with a smirk on his face.

"Oh, hell no. You touch me, and I'll kick your butt into next year!" I exclaim. He touches my arm, and I jump up. All his friends jump backwards, away from me. My blue eyes must be burning with anger because fear crosses his face. I kick him in the crotch, punch him in the stomach, and punch him in the face. I smirk and say, "I warned you."

"Oh, dear Jesus," he groans through gritted teeth while lying on the floor of the bus. "You hit hard."

"You know, I've wanted to do that since the last time I saw you," I say. One of his friends comes forward and accidentally trips and falls into me, but it looks like he did it on purpose, so I lunge for him. Two, strong arms grab me as the boy jumps backwards.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean it. I swear I tripped," he says shaking.

"Get off me!" I scream and smash my hands into the arms holding me.

"I will as long as you don't try to kill anyone. Actually as long as you don't try to hit anyone," Max says.

"Fine, I won't," I grumble and the arms release me. I give one more, anger filled look at the boy on the floor and sit back down. The boy's friends drag him back down to their seat, and I calm down a bit more. After a few minutes my stomach rumbles, and Zoe and Max laugh.

       "You hungry?" Zoe asks.

"No, I'm starving. I hardly ate this morning," I say and look at both of them. "Do either of you have food?"

       "Nope, sorry," Max says.

"Only what I had for breakfast," Zoe says. I groan and flop back down into my seat.
