I awake the next morning, and Kellin kisses me. "Morning, beautiful," he says.

"Morning, love," I say with a smile. I look at him with a look of pure happiness, and he returns the look. I slip out of his grasp, stand up, grab clothes, and go into the bathroom. I feel his eyes on me the whole time. I walk out of the bathroom to find Dylan standing there. Kellin has stayed under the blanket and shut his eyes, so I decide not to bother him.

"Whoa, Delilah, what's with the hair?" Dylan asks.

"Nothing, nothing at all," I say a bit too quickly.

"Well, grab a brush and head for the cafeteria. Zoe would like to chat with you," he says.

"Okay. Did she say if she wanted me alone or not?" I ask while grabbing a brush.

"She asked that you come alone," he says.

"Okay. I'm gonna head that way. I'm hungry, so perfect place to go for a meeting," I say. I walk out of the room, and Dylan follows me until I get to the end of the hallway. I go to the cafeteria, and when Zoe sees me she bursts out laughing.

"What happened to your hair?" she asks between bursts of laughter.

"Nothing, nothing at all," I say a bit too quickly.

"Delilah, you didn't do what I think you did, did you?" she gasps.

"I did nothing. Nothing happened," I say calmly while brushing my hair.

       "You did!" she exclaims.

"Nope, I didn't," I lie. I hate lying to my best friend, but I have no choice.

"You're lying," she says looking at me with annoyance and disbelief.

"Yup, sure. Now, why'd you ask me to come down here?" I ask.

"I wanted to ask about Glade. He seems suspicious," she says.

"He's cool. I trust him, and so do the guys with other powers," I say simply.

"Okay, but I'm going to be watching him," she says. With that she leaves the room, and I feel a hand on my shoulder.

"What was that about?" Kellin asks.

"She's just concerned about Glade. Now I need to get food because I'm starving," I say.

"Same. Why did she look so concerned though? I can tell it wasn't just Glade," he asks.

"She's thinking that we, you know, last night," I say.

"And you couldn't convince her we didn't?" he asks.

       "Apparently not," I say.

"Wow, that's crazy. Why wouldn't she believe you if it's the truth?" he asks winking at me. I smile and finish brushing my hair. He wraps his arm around my waist, and we walk up to the line for food.

"The usual, Delilah?" the lunch lady asks.

"Actually I'd like two biscuits, two pieces of sausage, an apple, a bowl of gravy, and a glass of milk," I say.

"Okay, and for you?" she asks.

"I'd like the same, please," he says.

"Okay, please move down. Your food should be ready in a moment," she says.
