"Thanks, Mrs. Zigler!" I said to Zoe's mom as she dropped us off. Don't get me wrong, I really do appreciate her hauling us around everywhere, but I wish we could drive so squad wasn't always rolling up in a minivan.

"I wanna go to Hot Topic! I wanna go to Hot Topic!" Zoe started in. She literally does this every time we go to the mall.

"Right, because you need another Pierce the Veil T shirt. Hey, I've got an idea, let's go to Windsor and try on prom dresses!" I've been wanting to do this forever. Hey, prom might be two years away still, but it never hurts to plan ahead. I also just really like dresses.

"Yeah! That sounds fun!" Stella agreed with me.

"Ha, two against one," I smirked at Zoe. But of course, once she heard Stella's opinion she didn't complain. She's been really quick to please Stella lately.

Windsor is this really cool clothing store in Costal Grande Mall but it also has these really fancy prom dresses in the back. I've always wanted to just go in and try them on. My eyes flew immediately to a long, bright pink one with rhinestones on the top. "This one'a mine!" I called it.

"Take it," said Zoe. "I hate long dresses." She said this as she pulled out the shortest, tightest dress she could find. It also had cut out sides and it was strapless. Just what you'd expect from Zoe in a store like this.

"I'll put on this one," Stella spoke up from across the room. She found a gold, form fitting dress with long sleeves. It shimmered.

"Alright, to the dressing rooms!" I charged the sales lady and ducked into the nearest stall. The mall was a great idea. Good thinking, Zoe.

We are so immature. I'm surprised we haven't been kicked out of the store yet. Kat is in such a great mood that she's bouncing off the walls and I know  for a fact we're not going to buy anything in here. The price of my dress is upwards of $300 and it barely even has any material. Well, at least Kat is happy. Hopefully this little adventure is having the same effect on Stella.

I slipped my dress on. It actually looked pretty good on me. I'm not the skinniest girl, but it hugged me in all the right places and I was rocking the cut out sides. I stepped out of my dressing room to find Kat and Stella making various poses in front of the three way mirror and taking mirror pics. There was a mini photo shoot going down in here.

"Zoe! You look gorgeous!" Exclaimed Stella. She was one to talk.

"Speak for yourself! You're stunning. If I were you and I wasn't broke, I'd buy that dress," I said. And I wasn't lying either. Stella, unlike me, is very slim and beautiful and her  dress made her look even more so. The gold looked pretty with her dark brown hair.

"Uh, what about me? I'm loving my dress!" Shouted Kat a little too enthusiastically. We all laughed.

So we took a bunch of pictures and acted silly and everyone was having fun. I think it even took Stella's mind off of things. So I didn't think it would be a problem when Kat said we should try on another dress. I picked out short, nude colored see through dress with giant rhinestones adorning the fabric everywhere. The skirt was full and it looked really pretty. "I've got this one," I said, claiming it.

"Mine!" Called Stella holding up a shimmery teal thing that looked a little like a mermaid outfit if you asked me. And people say my cloths are freaky. To each their own.

"This one's mine!" Said Kat, drawing out the mine like a little kid. She held up a long flowing white thing. I knew it would make her look like a goddess. We once again disappeared into the dressing rooms.

My dress was a metallic blue color. I kind of picked it out just to be funny but it actually did look kind of good on me. This shopping trip was actually turning out to be fun. I admit, I wasn't really in the mood when Zoe suggested it. I stepped out of the dressing room but the hallway was empty. "Guys?" I called.

"I can't come out," said Zoe. "My damn boobs don't fill up this dress and it's hanging off of me. I'm just putting my comfy ripped jeans back on."

"Fine, Kat and I can look like princesses without you then," I replied.

"Eh. I'd rather be punk rock than a pretty princess." I laughed at Zoe.

"I can come out I think, I just need you to zip my dress up for me," said Kat.

"Sure," I replied. She opened the door a crack and turned around. I tugged on the zipper but it wouldn't budge. Now, Kat is not fat by any means, but she's a bit bigger boned than I am and I noticed she picked out one of those slim fit dresses.

"It'll go if you suck in," I told her.

"Okay. Pull up on three. One two thr-" she sucked in and I yanked on the zipper but it got caught in the fabric. I yanked it up do hard that the whole dress ripped. Oh no.

"Stella!" Kat exclaimed.

"I'm sorry! I thought it would go! The zipper just got stuck!" I didn't know what to do. Just then, the sales lady walked up behind me.

"Are we having a problem here, ladies? Or should I say, girls?" She tapped her foot impatiently.

"Uh, well, yes ma'am. You see, I accidentally just ripped this dress," I moved aside to let her observe the rip that ran all the way up Kat's back.

"That's just too bad," she said in a monotone voice. "Here at Windsor, if you break it, you buy it."

"Yes ma'am," I responded, frantically trying to find the price tag. When I read it, I had to stifle a gasp. The dress was $1,000.

"Hey, what  is going on out there?" I heard Zoe say from the dressing room.

Oh no.
