Dean's POV

It's 3am on Saturday morning and I cannot sleep. I'm so confused and conflicted right now. Earlier in the night, I got the strangest text from my girlfriend. Ugh, I'm not sure I even want to call her that anymore.

Yevonne: Hey babe I have something to show you wanna c? :)

Dean: Sure

I didn't know what she was talking about, but hey, anything to make her happy. I'm just not sure she's the same sweet Yevonne I knew when we first started dating anymore.

Yevonne: Okay...

Yevonne: :P

Attached was a... oh my gosh. My girlfriend sent me a nude, okay? And I mean, girls don't just go around sending me nudes, but it looked like she was in this extremely awkward pose so at first I thought it was some kind of joke.

Dean: Are you kidding me?

Yevonne: ...no :( why?

Dean: babe, I really like you and everything but I don't want you just sending me random naked pictures. I'm just not about that.

Yevonne: Calm down, we were just playing truth or dare

Dean: So you sent me a nude because your friends told you to? Whatever, just don't do it anymore. It made me uncomfortable. Good night <3

Yevonne: okay...

Dean: Yevonne, what?

Yevonne: nothing okay! Geez, I won't send you pictures anymore. night <3

I didn't respond after that. Yevonne's friends drive me crazy. It's all these girls from the basketball team, and this chick Madison that Yevonne basically worships. She always vents to me about how Madison makes her do this and that, and yet she does it anyway and continues to hang around Madison! Honestly, I just don't understand girl friendships. If you're a guy, you don't hang out with people you don't like.

A few hours later, I was back to just chilling and playing on my Xbox when my phone rings. By now it's pretty late, about midnight, so I wonder who would be calling me. When I pause the game and check my phone, I'm somehow not surprised that it's Yevonne.

I sighed heavily before I clicked answer. "Hello? Babe, why are you calling me so late?"

"Late?" Her somewhat nasal voice replied, "it's Friday night! Twelve am is not late!"

I thought about telling her that it's late for people who like to actually get some sleep, but I didn't want to piss her off. "Whatever. What do you need?"

"Oh, so just cause I'm calling you means I need something?" Women are so confusing. Can't she just answer my question?

"Yevonne..." She cut me off before I could finish.

"Look, Dean, I was going to invite you to come to Madison's house and hang out with me but it sounds like you don't want to. All the other girls are inviting their boyfriends but you probably couldn't handle what we're gonna do anyway," I could almost see her jutting out her hip and putting her fist on it in that sassy way she always does when we argue. Which seemed to be a lot lately.
