"AGH!" I screamed when something wet and slimy touched my face. I opened my eyes to find Zoe's poodle, Cocoa, licking me mercilessly. I'd fallen asleep on the floor along with everyone except Zoe and Emily, who'd called Zoe's bed. I was sound asleep when that dog attacked me! I was furious. No one interrupts my sleep.
"Well then. Good morning to you, too," said Zoe through a fit of giggles. She and Emily had apparently already been up and were watching YouTube on Zoe's laptop. I don't understand how they survive on such little sleep!
"Yeah, good morning," moaned a sarcastic Stella. "Y'all woke me up when you started cracking up at that Shane Dawson video." Zoe and Emily laughed at her remark.
"We've been up too," said Taylor from a corner of the room where she and Sam were intently watching something on Taylor's phone. They suddenly busted out laughing.
"What are y'all even watching?" I asked. They busted out laughing again.
"SHERLOCK," they said through their loud guffaws.
"Okay then..." I said under my breath. What the hell is Sherlock?
"I think me, you, and Sam need to get ready for our game," Zoe said to me. "It's already eleven o'clock."
"But we need breakfast first..." Taylor whined.
"WANDA!" I screamed before dashing down the stairs and into the kitchen. I thought I smelled something! The warm aroma of vanilla pancakes filled my nostrils and my mouth watered. The other girls soon joined me in the kitchen, laughing at the fact that I just called Mrs. Zigler by her first name and bombarded my way into her kitchen.
"Girls! You're finally up! I was going to come wake you in a bit if you didn't come downstairs. C'mon, have some vanilla pancakes!"
Taylor grinned and we all sat down at Zoe's kitchen table and let Wanda give us three pancakes each, even though we knew we wouldn't eat them all. They just looked and smelled so good!

Stella's POV

Wanda's vanilla pancakes did smell good. I took a small bite of the one on top of my stack. Oh no, they were delicious. Just like Ms. Nancy's.
During breakfast, we all basically ranted about annoying people from school and other things we found irritating. It was a great stress reliever. Everyone else ate their pancakes and gushed to Wanda about how great they were.
"Honey, how come you didn't eat anything?" Wanda asked me.
I looked down at my plate and said "I tried them! They were really good, I'm just not that hungry. I ate too much popcorn last night."
"Oh, okay," Wanda took my plate and dumped the nibbled on pancakes into the garbage.
"Thanks so much for having me stay here, Wanda," I said, causing the other girls to erupt in thank yous as well.
