The next morning, Lindsey woke up in an unusually peaceful manner. His eyes fluttered open and he smiled. Demi lay next to him, seemingly still asleep. He looked at her sleeping attire with a grin: she wore the shirt he had been wearing the night before and her own lace panties. The shirt had lifted a litte as Demi had slept and Lindsey was mesmerised by the toned, curvy body Demi hid beneath her clothes. He longed to touch her in so many different ways, longed to be nearer to her. But he would wait, because he promised he would. And Lindsey Buckingham never broke a promise. She’d confessed to him that she usually slept in nothing at all, unless Agnes was staying with her, but he couldn’t be trusted so she pulled his shirt off him and disappeared. She remerged a few minutes later, the shirt drowning her small frame, her face free of makeup and her hair pulled up in a ponytail. She was breath taking. She and Lindsey had sat in the living room until 5 in the morning, talking about anything and everything. They eventually made it to bed, falling fast asleep, Lindsey sleeping in his boxers and Demi still wearng his shirt and her panties. Demi breathed softly next to him, confirming she was still asleep. Lindsey looked at the clock on the wall; it said ‘11AM’. He sighed, knowing he should have been at the studio two hours ago. But he didn’t care. The situation he was found himself in was pure bliss. He leant over and kissed Demi’s cheek softly. She stirred and turned her face towards him. Lindsey watched as Demi’s eyes fluttered open and a smile appeared on her face when she saw him. “Morning.” Lindsey said. Demi smiled and kissed him tenderly on the lips. “Hello.” She replied. She moved over to be closer to him and he put his arm around her. “Last night was nice.” Demi mused, tracing the lines of Lindsey’s biceps with her forefinger. Lindsey smiled, remembering their drunken night together. Surprisingly, they had kept their promise and hadn’t done anything other than literally sleep together. And, much to Lindsey’s surprise, he had quite enjoyed it.
Lindsey stumbled through into Demi’s kitchen, having been in the shower in the main bathroom. His hair was slightly damp, and he was now wearing his jeans again. Demi had just gotten out of the shower herself, using her en suit and so her long hair was dripping wet and plastered to her back. She’d changed into a little white sundress that had a vague lace detail on the bodice. She smiled at him as he wandered into the room. “Hello again.” She greeted him, serving up some fried eggs and toasts. “Hi. What’s this?” Lindsey asked, sitting down at the breakfast bar. “Breakfast. You’re a guest so I thought I’d cook for you.” “I don’t usually have breakfast. But today will be a exception.” Demi took a seat beside him and they began eating their breakfast. Once they’d finished, Demi cleared the plates away and led Lindsey by the hand into her living room. “Make yourself at home. I’m just going to dry my hair.” “Okay.” Lindsey replied. He sat on her couch as she walked away. “Feel free to have a look through my records!” Demi called out as she went into her bedroom. She closed the door behind her and the hum of her hairdryer started almost immediately. Lindsey began flicking through her records, smiling as he found copies of both Fleetwood Mac and Rumours. He eventually found a record that appealed to him and seemed to fit the mood. He set the record, which was L.A. Woman by The Doors, down on the player. Lindsey listened admiringly as the music played. As the song L.A. Woman really began to play, Demi reappeared, her hair now dry and her makeup done to perfection. It hung in big curls, matching Lindsey’s own naturally curly hair, which had by now started to grow back after his extreme haircut the year before. “I love this song!” She exclaimed. Lindsey grinned and turned the volume up. As Jim Morrison began to sing, the two began to dance together. As the song ended, they collapsed onto the couch in a fit of giggles. Demi reached over Lindsey to turn the volume down. “Is this your natural hair?” Lindsey asked, running his hand over Demi’s curls. “Yea. I hate it. I never know what to do with them.” Lindsey smiled. “I like it. I think your curls are gorgeous.” Demi blushed, looking away from Lindsey’s charming face. He brought her face back towards him and smiled. “Not as gorgeous as you though.” He said charmingly. Demi giggled like a smitten schoolgirl, which Lindsey loved. He slowly leant forward and planted kiss on Demi’s lips. They kissed for a while before breaking apart. Demi sighed happily. “What do you want to do today?” She asked. “I was supposed to be in the studio.” Lindsey replied, playing with Demi’s curls. “Oh…” Demi sounded disappointed. “But it’s a bit late now.” Lindsey said. He sat up properly and Demi did the same. “Why don’t I reintroduce you to LA?”
