The Next Morning – 10:30AM
Demi woke up gradually, stretching out her arms. Her eyes snapped open when she felt the warm of a body beside her. She sat bolt up right and looked down to right, her eyes widening when she saw a sleeping Lindsey by her side. “Shit.” She whispered. Demi got out of the bed, wrapping her silk robe around her. She winced when she heard Lindsey stir. Looking over her shoulder, she saw him turn around, still sound asleep. He looked so handsome; his hair was messed up, the curls falling onto his forehead, almost into his eyes. Demi sighed; she should have known this was going to happen. Bringing Lindsey back to her house and getting drunk was not a good combination. She knelt on the bed gently and shook Lindsey’s shoulder, trying to wake him up. Demi watched as his eyes fluttered open and he looked up at her wearily. “Morning sleeping beauty.” Demi said smiling, softening as she looked into his bright blue eyes. Lindsey looked around, slowly realizing what had happened. “Oh God. Demi… did we?” Demi nodded. Lindsey sat up quickly. “You have to know that it wasn’t my intention to come here and sleep with you. I swear. But you know how I get when I’ve had a bit to drink, and you had a bit to drink too so…” Demi chuckled. “I was panicked like that too when I woke up. I thought about leaving you a note and making myself scarce… but this is my house. If anyone should be leaving, its you.” Lindsey looked at her sadly. “Do you want me to leave?” He asked seriously. Demi shook her head, laughing. “I’m joking! You can stay as long as you like.” She got up off the bed and started picking clothes up off the floor. “You can take a shower through there.” She said, pointing to a nearby door, which led to her en suite. “Thanks.” Lindsey replied, wrapping the bed sheet around his waist and making his way to the door. “Lindsey, please, I’ve seen it all before.” Demi stood on the sheet, stopping Lindsey in his tracks. He smirked at her over his shoulder, tugging the sheet lightly. “You have to buy me dinner first, Lovato.” He replied, turning to face her when she wouldn't budge. Demi chuckled. “It’s a bit late for that, isn’t it? We’ve already had sex, multiple times. Plus, we’re not even together anymore. I don’t have to buy you anything.” “Well… we could be together again.” Lindsey suggested. Demi watched silently as he moved towards her, his face wearing an expression of down-played seduction. He stopped right in front of her, using one hand to keep the sheet up and the other to play with the stray curls that framed her face. “I’ve missed you, Dem.” He murmured, caressing her face. Demi shivered; everything about Lindsey was so much more obvious when she wasn’t drunk. She saw and felt everything, clear as crystal: his chiselled abs, his thick curls, his warm breath on her face and his intense blue eyes. “I’ve missed you too, Linds.” Demi replied, continuing to shiver under Lindsey’s touch. “I never stopped thinking about you. Even when I got back with Carol, I only ever really thought about you.” Demi remained silent, staring intently into Lindsey’s eyes. “Can we get back together? Please?” Lindsey asked. Demi nodded her head slowly. “Yes. Yes. A thousand times yes.” She dropped the clothes she had gathered and threw her arms around Lindsey’s neck. He dropped the sheet and untied Demi’s nightgown, putting his arms inside and wrapping them around her bare waist. Their lips moved in a familiar way and they both smiled through the kiss.
Demi lay back against Lindsey, smiling as he put his arms around her. “Why didn’t we ever have baths together before?” She asked, running her hands over the bubbles. They had made their way into the bathroom eventually and had decided to share a bath together, since Lindsey had been on his way to take a shower anyway before they’d gotten distracted by one another. “I don’t know. We shared multiple showers.” Lindsey replied, wrapping his arms around Demi’s waist. She smiled. “Yes. But they weren’t in the interest of washing ourselves or just having a nice chat like we are now.” Demi pointed out. “Oh yes, that’s true.” Lindsey said, kissing the crook of Demi’s neck. She smiled again and looked over her shoulder at him. “I really have missed you, Linds. I missed us.” Lindsey returned her smile. “I missed you too.” He replied. He lowered his head and kissed her shoulder, making his way up to her ear. Demi shuddered at his touch, digging her nails into his arms. “Are my kisses doing what I think they’re doing?” Lindsey whispered into her ear. She smiled and looked over her shoulder at him. “Perhaps. But I’m not doing that in the bath with you.” “Why not? We’ve done it in the shower.” “Yea, but it’s easier to back me up against a wall and have your way with me than to do it surrounded by water.” Lindsey raised an eyebrow. “I’m up for the challenge if you are.” Demi grinned. “Maybe later. My back is still hurting from last night.” She replied, pecking him on the lips. Lindsey grumbled, making it quite clear his sex drive was still at an all time high. Demi laughed. “You’re so eager! Did Carol Ann not satisfy you enough?” “She just wasn’t as good as you.” He replied honestly. “Aw, how sweet... But flattery won't work. We’re still not having sex in the bath.” “Damn.” Demi chuckled at Lindsey’s disappointment and snuggled back into him. After a few minutes he told her he had an idea. “What’s that?” She asked. “I don’t have any work for the next few weeks until I start touring and, as far as I know, neither do you.” Demi nodded in confirmation. “Good. Well, I was thinking… Why don’t we go on a little vacation together?” “Vacation? Where to?” “Well, I was thinking… I could take you to meet my mom and my brothers.” Demi freed herself from Lindsey’s grasp and turned herself around to look at him. “You really want to introduce me to your mom?” She asked. Lindsey smiled. “I do.” He replied. Demi threw her arms around him and pressed her lips to his. “Does this mean yes?” Lindsey asked when Demi pulled away. “Yes!” Demi exclaimed, kissing his nose, forehead and cheeks. “Does this mean I get bath sex now?” Lindsey asked hesitantly, a cheeky smile on his lips. Demi shook her head in amazement. “Quickly. Before I change my mind.”
