Kennedy's POV

"This is what we're going to do, tonight, when it's dark, we will be concealed enough to go out and find some new clothing, because frankly, ours smell rank right now." Onix snorted, before continuing. "We're going to need to hide our identities too, especially Kennedy and Annie, we don't want to risk them getting sent back to the prison at this point. Over the next two days, we need to scout out the vicinity of the Archive's building, and find out how people get in and out, I know that my parents used to have key cards to get in and out, so we might have to swipe a few so we can get in. There's no denying that when we get in, there will be guards everywhere, so we're going to need to be heavily disguised or get in through a different route, but we'll figure that out over the next day or so. That's all we can do for now, but does anyone else have any other suggestions?" Everyone shook their heads, so I got up so I could fill up my bottle and go to the loo. Yes, there was a full functioning toilet in this building, which was great, seeing as though we had been peeing behind rocks and trees.

Once I was done, I filled my bottle and sipped it as I walked back into the room. We had quite a while until we could go out, well, Annie and me at least. Sterling had gone by the time I got back and Onix and Annie were playing a quiet game of cards.

"Where's Sterling?" I asked them, in a hushed tone.

"He went out to get food and some new clothes for us all." Annie replied quietly. I sat beside them and Onix dealt me a round of cards and I joined in their game of Go Fish.

"That's good, 'cause I'm starving right now." I said with a smile on my face.

We continued with the game, trying to be as quiet as we could, which was quite hard because we were all so competitive, so it didn't take long for the game to get a bit out of hand and wake Sade up.

"What on earth are you arguing about?" Sade groaned from Annie's lap.

"Onix is cheating at Go Fish, again!" Annie accused, which Onix responded in mock horror.

"How dare you accuse me of something so abominable!" He gasped and clutched at his chest. "You wound me, Annie, you wound me!"

"Just admit it Onix! You've been holding back cards from us! You said you didn't have any eights, but it's clear that you do!" I argued, pointing a finger and narrowing my eyes at him.

"And how would you know I have any eights, hm?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Because you just put down a full set of eights you dimwit and Annie only gave you one!"

"Right, it's obvious that this game has gotten out of hand. Give me all the cards, you are banned from playing Go Fish or any other card game, until you learn to play in a civilized manner!" Sade said grumpily, confiscating the cards form us. We all looked at him in horror, Annie just sat there with a shocked look on her was, whilst Onix and I folded our arms and pouted.

"How dare you!" I muttered. "I was clearly winning that game!"

"No you weren't." Onix said.

"Yes I was!" I shouted at him, sticking my tongue out.

"Calm down, children, or you'll be going to bed without dinner." Sade intervened, with his arms folded and a stern look on his face.

"But I'm hungry!" I whined.

"Yeah, so am I!" Onix said in the same way, making Sade chuckle.

"Well, that's your own faults for being so immature." He stated, causing both Onix and me to huff in our disappointment.
