Alice's POV

They are all in conversation as we sit down and we make small talk until the door opened, interrupting us. Squeals erupted echoing through the cave, as the boys burst into the quiet space. Their red cheeks glowed in the light of the fire Jet held up a dead squirrel and Ace presented his dead rabbit to us.

"If you think this is good, you should see what Onix shot down! It's a beauty!" They giggled and then ran and dumped the animals in a water bucket ready for washing, just as Onix walked through the entrance with a young stag over his shoulder. Some of the boys jumped up and rushed over to help him.

"Wow, Onix. Show off much?" Finch said patting him on the back. He chuckled in response.

"Looks like a filling meal tonight. Got any herbs or veggies?" Sade asked.

"Yep, right here." He said pulling out a bag full of plants from his satchel.

Sade took the bag and pored them into another bucket.

"We're going to eat like kings tonight!" Onix said as he walked over and sat down next to me. I glanced over at Annabelle to see she was giving me the evils, which gave me the feeling that she like-liked Onix. I squirmed in my seat as he absent mindedly rested his arm around the back of the sofa, his hand inches away from my shoulder, he was close, annoyingly too close for my liking, so I shuffled to the opposite end of the sofa, as far away from him as I could get, so I could so I could show Annabelle I wasn't interested in stealing Onix from her. She sighed and turned away obviously not satisfied. Turning slightly towards Onix, I fiddled with my clothes, self-consciously, knowing he was watching my movements.

"So, are the boys decent hunters? They look too cute to do something so barbaric." My lips turned up in a smirk mid sentence.

"You're such a girl! They were great, they're boys with an excessive amount of energy." He sent a smirk back and punched me lightly on the arm. Anger rose within me.

"What. Did. You. Just. Call. Me?" My voice getting higher after each word, the blood within me bubbling.

"I called you a girl, a G-I-R-L." He frowned, not thinking he had done anything wrong. Unknown to him, I found it quite offensive.

"So, being a girl is a problem? Does it mean I can't cope on my own? Or have opinions on what I think is wrong like children hunting?" My hands curled into fists and a crowd of the other guys started to gather. "Say it again, I dare you."

"Alice, you are such a girl!"

That was all it took. My fist swung forward and connected with his stomach. He bent over from the force and shock, and then fell to the floor once my knee had connected with his privates. Breathing heavily and clutching his man-hood. I had successfully winded him pretty bad and probably damaged his chances at having kids. Laughs erupted from the audience and a hand patted my back, as Onix buckled from the pain. My fist was still clenched and ready for round two. Annabelle gasped. It was a minute before everyone had caught their breaths from laughing. Onix spoke first.

"Remind me never to insult you again." He groaned, whilst I relaxed my arm and sat down again.

"Wow, Alice! Can we have an action replay? That's the most entertainment I've had in ages!" Finch laughed out from behind me, grasping his knees to steady himself. The other boys whooped and cheered, as Onix righted himself. I felt a light tap on my shoulder blade. It was an angry looking Annabelle.

"How could you do that? You could've hurt him!" She growled at me.

"What? He deserved it! To be honest, he should've seen it coming" I retorted back. "Why do you care so much, anyway?" A small smile crossed my face. It was a cruel thing to say, as I knew it would make her uncomfortable. A blush flooded her face and I raised an eyebrow.
