Tayler
I scurried through the crowd filled with blue graduation gowns & caps. Breathless as I ran, I was looking for those eyes. Those beautiful blue eyes I fell in love with. It was then I found them.
"Hayes!" I screamed as I tried not to trip over my draping gown. He turned around & his face lit up with glee.
"Tayler!" he screamed back as he waved & started running.
We ran towards each other, briskfully. It felt like a scene in slow motion but I couldn't have pictured it better. I got close enough & jumped into his arms.
He clutched me closely & spun me in his arms. He set me down slowly & kissed me with passion. His warm hands pressed to my cheeks as I held him close. We pulled away & tears started to swell in my eyes.
"I'm going to miss you so much baby," I whispered as I cried into his chest.
"I'm going to miss you so much more babe," he whispered back as he stroked my hair softly. I felt light tear drops hit my scalp. I looked up & saw he was in tears too. I giggled softly at the sight of him crying.
It still surprises me how often he cries. I wiped away my tears as I held him closer. I felt a light tap & turned around.
I saw my dad with Colleen & they were both smiling. But my dad's looked more apologetic than proud.
"Honey can I talk to you?" he asked as he motioned for my arm.
"Sure," I nodded & let go of Hayes. We walked to the car as my dad began talking.
"I'm sorry honey. What I did was wrong & all I want is what is best for you," he apologised openly. I started to tear up again.
"It's okay dad. I'm sorry for acting this way too," I smiled through my tears. I hugged him tight as he patted my back softly.
"You can go to the airport to say goodbye to Hayes," he said. I let go & looked at him, took a deep breath & smiled.
"Thanks Dad," I whispered as I walked to Hayes.
"What did he say?" Hayes asked with a nervous look. I grinned slightly & pinched his cheek.
"That I can come with you to the airport to say goodbye to the love of my life," I explained with a full on smile.
It was then Hayes grabbed my waist, slung me over his shoulder like his backpack & ran to his car.
"We're gonna go to my house first if that's okay babe?" he smiled brightly & set me in the passenger's seat.
"Yeah. I wanna see the place one more time anyways," I smiled back. He got in his car & started driving. I held onto his hand as we drove swiftly to his house.
It wasn't a long drive but I just wanted to appreciate his presence one more time before he went to California.

We arrived at his place & walked hand in hand through the door.
"I'm home!" Hayes called out. He received no response.
"Where is everyone?" I asked doubtfully.
"Nash is probably still buying me some stuff for California because he said he didn't wanna share anything with me if I was gonna live with him," he chuckled, "& my parents are probably taking Skylynn out because they promised her they would after the ceremony."
"So home alone huh," I nodded as I looked around Hayes' room. I took in my surroundings one last time. I walked over to his nightstand & saw my clothes, washed & neatly folded.
