I slipped on my green bomber jacket & headed for the door.
"Where are you going?" my dad asked as he caught me leaving.
"I'm going with Mckinnley to a football game at school. We'll be back soon," I assured.
"Alright. Have fun," he shrugged. I left the house & headed for school.

I got there to see everything in full swing. The school band was playing loud & proud. The cheerleaders were just about to go on & everyone was sitting in their seats.
I made my way to the seat Mckinnley saved for me & even got a grim glare from Anastasia.
"Aye you made it," Mckinnley said as she shoved a handful of popcorn in her mouth.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world," I smiled & sat in my seat.
"They've been doing great," she told me.
"Wow. First game & we're winning by far," I smiled. Mckinnley & I cheered as we saw Hayes had the ball in his hands.
"I see you're making googly eyes at my boy Tayler," I heard a chuckle. I turned around to see Daniel once again.
"Hey Danny," I chuckled, "I wasn't by the way," I laughed.
"I see you," he sat in between Mckinnley & I.
"What are you doing here?" Mckinnley asked in disgust.
"Here to support my best friend," he snapped at her. She gave him a smirk with a nod & continued eating.
We spent the rest of the night cheering & supporting our team. In the end Davidson Day won against Ridge Wood & the crowd went wild. The cheerleaders ran onto the field & started dancing with the players. Anastasia even gave Hayes a kiss of victory. We did our celebrating on the stands & then decided to head out.
"I'll see you tomorrow," I said to Mckinnley.
"You too," she said. Just before we departed, we were approached by Hayes & Daniel.
"Good job tonight," I congratulated Hayes.
"Thanks Tayler," he smiled.
"There's a party at Patrick's house & we were wondering if you guys would wanna come?" Daniel asked.
"I'm in for a crash," Mckinnley shrugged.
"Tay?" Daniel asked.
"I can't. I gotta get home," I sulked.
"C'mon T, it'll be fun," Mckinnley tugged onto my arm.
"Yeah, it won't be a big thing either. Plus I'd really wanna get to know you more," Hayes cradled my hand in his.
Daniel & Mckinnley were standing behind me & making sexual signals. I laughed at them & relaxed my hand.
"Okay. But I won't stay long alright," I gave in.
"Great," Hayes smiled brightly. It was actually the cutest thing I had ever seen.
Although Hayes was a bad boy top dog who I didn't want to get involved with, I had to admit, he was cute.
"Let's all go in my car," I suggested & we all climbed in.
