Chapter 8: This is Only the Beginning...

A/N Hey guys! sorry this chapter is so late! I was out of town for a few days and only thought of downloading the  Wattpad app today! Yep...Ima derp :P Anyways, hope you enjoy!

Alex's POV (SURPRISE!)

"You're a Shadow Knight..." Jess said with a shocked look on her face. I want to help her, I really do! But I have no control over my own body. Ever since I was captured by that jerk Loki (I want to use such a stronger word but I don't swear).

*Flashback*

I was in my base, just doing some basic chores while I waited for the inevitable emergency that would cause Katz to call me. Lately the city has been in a lot more danger than it usually is, and we have no idea why. Maybe Jess would know...

I became sad when I remembered Jess, and how she left us all, in order to protect us as she put it.  Suddenly I was no longer sad, but angry. I went over to Doomsday's glass cage, broke a pane,...and killed him.

"Feels good to let the anger take control, doesn't it?"

I turned, revealing man with black hair, blue eyes, a white cloth around the lower portion of his face, and a cross necklace. "Who are you?" I demanded, grabbing his neck.

"That doesn't really matter. What really matters is who she is," he replied, pointing behind me. I turned to see a girl with white hair and amethyst eyes with a black hoodie on. "Sasha, would you do the honors?"

"With pleasure..." the girl, Sasha, replied. Her hands started to glow purple. I remember growing drowsy, and then everything went black.

I woke up to find myself handcuffed to a chair with kryptonite handcuffs and my mouth gagged. The man with black hair was in front of me watching a screen. On it I could see Sly, Kala, Steven, Jose, Katz, Pbat, Castor, and...JESS! What is she doing at the Hall? And who are those two guys in the Cpt. America suit and armor? "Hehehe...looks like Lord Aphmau managed to get there in time." The man spoke.

"MMMMPPPHH!" I tried to yell through the gag. I tried to rip free of my handcuffs, but I knew I was already too weak to do anything.

"Well...almost in time any way." He laughed as I continued to struggle. "Don't worry...I'll release you as soon as the Shadow Lord is done with you. Sasha! Gene! Take him to the master! Take him...to Loki..."

I was dragged away by the girl and another man with black hair and dark blue eyes and a black cloth covering the bottom half of his face. Pretty soon I recognized the place I was in to be the nether. I was dragged to what USED to be a nether fortress. It was now a giant netherbrick CASTLE. I was placed in the middle of the throne room in front of someone I did not want to see, Jess's deranged uncle, Loki.

"My, my, look who we have here. The mighty superman." Loki sneered. "Yes, I think you will make a wonderful addition to my army."

I finally was able to loosen my gag enough for it to fall."I will NEVER join you!" I spat.

"Well, you might change your mind once you remember how Jess left you guys. How she abandoned you all and left your team a hollow and bitter shell of what it used to be." I felt the familiar anger well up inside of me. "Yes, she left you all, leaving you to fight and break into chaos. Let your anger take control. Let it feed your strength." He came near and touched his staff to my heart. I felt my anger triple and start to form a separate being in my thoughts.

"NO! I...will...NEVER...join you!" I yelled, fighting for my own mind.

"Come on! It feels GOOD to let it control you! You don't want to push it back! Just let your anger take control!" Loki yelled, making his staff glow brighter as he once again touched it to my chest, making the feeling 10x as bad as before.
