"Now everything you put on... Everything you put on looks better on you, than the one you tried on before. Don't make me pick, girl. Don't make me choose."

Trevon's P.O.V.

I watched her startle at my previous request. I internally shrugged, knowing that as my new assistant, this was part of her job description. That wasn't truly the reason why I wanted her to accompany, however. I did actually want to spend more time with Kelly, in a more comfortable environment, even if our meeting was still work related. I really should've allowed Becky to come to the fitting with me, and Kelly follow us, so she is accustomed with the whole routine, but to be honest, I wasn't ready to endure hours of the domineering Miss Cave. It was attractive in the beginning, but it scared me now, believe it or not.

Speaking of Becky...

That woman really had some nerve, coming into my office and harassing Kelly like that. Why I still kept her, I have no clue... Probably because her mouth worked wonders on me. Kelly wasn't going to get away with her inquisitive question. I didn't need her suspecting anything, because then she'll start questioning me. And that's why I decide to leave my private life where it belongs.

"Sir, are you serious?" She asked, her brows furrowed in confusion. "Dress up? Are you sure you want me to attend this fitting with you? I've not exactly had the experience, you know..."

She trailed off, and I watched her fiddle with the tips of her hair.

"What experience?" I urged, not liking that she was keeping her thoughts from me. I didn't need to know everything, as I was only her boss, but if something was on her mind that affected me, then I thought I had the right to know.

"Lifestyle of the rich and famous." She answered, looking up at me.

"Believe me, Kelly, it isn't all like it seems. Occasionally, even I feel lonely, despite all of the money. So, I'm asking you, to come with me because I value your company."

I watched her inhale, and felt my own breathing straining as the seconds, waiting for her response, felt like millenniums. Slowly, a shy smile appeared on her lips, and she began to nod.

"Okay," she started.

"Okay...?" I trailed off, wanting her to elaborate her response, but not having the patience for her hesitations.

"Let's go."

Stepping out of the company car, I watched the awe on her face, and felt myself smiling subconsciously. Approaching the door, I opened it for her, allowing her to enter before me.

"What a gentleman!" She commented, a big grin forming on her face.

The shop was empty as it had been scheduled to only cater to myself and my assistant, without any distractions from the public. Pretentious, I know. But it was protocol. Hearing a light gasp, I spun to see Kelly checking out the numerous office wear, for both men and women. Her reaction cued an idea in my head, and I stepped towards her.

"It's pretty impressive, isn't it?" I asked, pleased with her reactions. Her earlier comment worried me slightly, as I was afraid she would be displeased with all the 'flashy' clothes and outrageous price tags.

"Mmhm," She nodded, keeping her distance from me as she noticed the shop attendant stride towards us, with her heels clacking, loudly, against the hard floor. She had her hair tied up in a tight bun, which looked very uncomfortable, but I understood the image of the store. Prim and proper.

"Good morning, Mr Baxter, it is always a pleasure to have you at our store," She grinning, flashing her pristine white teeth at me. "I hope your journey was well?"
