My eyes slowly opened. I could hear the birds sing, and could see the sun beaming bright. I rolled over to my side, trying to protect my eyes from the sun, and also to check the time. 9:02am it read. I sighed as I slowly rolled out of bed, and dragged myself downstairs.
"Good morning Kendall." Mrs. Cook sang as I entered the kitchen. "Breakfast is almost ready, why don't you go wait in the dinning room?"
I nodded with a yawn, and left the kitchen. I sat myself down by Zack and Lily at the table.
"Good morning!" Lily said excitedly. "Do you remember what today is?"
"Saturday?" I replied.
She laughed. "Yes, but what are we doing today?"
I thought for a moment, and instantly gave up. I was so tired my brain didn't feel like working. I shrugged, and Lily just sighed.
"Today we're going bowling."
"Oh right."
Lily shook her head with a smile on her face, unable to believe that I forgot. I pulled my hair back as Mrs. Cook came in with a plate full of french toast and milkshakes. I poured some maple syrup on top, and began to eat right away.
"So how did everyone sleep?" Asked Mrs. Cook while she was pouring herself some maple syrup.
"Good." Lily, Zack, and I replied at the same time.
"Glad to hear. Are we all ready for bowling today?"
"Yes!" Lily was the first- and loudest- one to reply. Zack and I just smiled and nodded.
"Good, now when you all finish I want you to go have a shower, and get ready." Mr. Cook told us.
We finished up our breakfast- which was absolutely delicious- and did as Mr. Cook said. When I had my shower, I made sure the water was hotter than usually so it would wake me up. Thankfully it worked. By the time I finished my shower I was wide awake. I threw on dark, blue jeans with a plaid (black, grey and white) button up long sleeved, shirt. I left my hair down, and made sure there were no tangles. Once I was finished I waited in the living room.
By twelve noon we were ready to go. It took us about half an hour to drive to the bowling place, but only 5 minutes to walk to the front desk.
"Shoe size, please?" The lady at the front desk asked. We each gave her our shoe size, and within seconds she placed them on the desk. "You can grab a bowling ball over there," She pointed straight a head where a rack of bowling balls were. "And your bowling lane is number 22. My name is Monica if you need any help or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Have a good time now."
"Thank you." Mrs. Cook said as we walked away to our lane.
We sat down in the chairs nearby our lane while we put on our shoes. When I lifted my head up I noticed Mrs. Cook had entered in our names.
Lily, Zack, Kendall, Mr. Cook, Mrs. Cook was the order.
"Okay Lily your up first."
Lily jumped up, grabbed a bowling ball and walked to our lane. She took a deep breath. Her left foot was in front of her right foot. She then let her right hand hold the bowling ball, swung her right hand back, and as it came forward she let go. The bowling ball rolled down the aisle so fast within a second it had hit the bowling pins, knocking them all down. Lily jumped in the air, facing us, and yelled out happily; "I got a strike!" She picked up another bowling ball, and tried again, getting another strike. "Yes!" She cried out happily as she sat down beside me.
We all clapped, congratulating her.
"Okay Zack, it's your turn now."
Zack picked up a bowling ball, swung his arm back and quickly let it came forward, and letting go of the ball. Zacks' didn't go quite as fast as Lilys' had, but within a few seconds the bowling ball had hit the pins, knocking down five out of ten. Zack sighed, but picked up another bowling ball and tried again. This time it had only knocked over three pins, leaving two pins behind. Zack walked back to his seat and sat down.
I stood up, and walked over to the lane with a bowling ball. I took a deep breath, and did the exact same thing I saw Lily and Zack do, only my bowling ball had hit six pins. A smile appeared across my face. I couldn't believe I had knocked six pins down on my first try. I picked up another bowling ball, and hit the four that were left. As I sat down Lily gave me a high five and said; "Good job Kendall! You're already doing better than Zack, and it's your first time!"

The game had lasted for an hour and a half. Afterwards we sat down at the table eating hamburgers and french fries while we discussed our scores.
"You did really good for your first time Kendall." Said Mr. Cook.
"Yeah you even beat Zack!" Lily added in.
I laughed a bit. "Thanks."
"Yeah you only won because I let you." Zack said, sounding a little bit jealous that I had done better than him.
"Oh sure you did." I replied sarcastically. I gave him a little nudge, as I picked up another french fry.
We were finishing up our lunch, while something caught my eye. Not even 10 feet away I saw a men and a woman. They looked very familiar, only I couldn't quite connect the dots.
"Kendall are you coming?" I heard Mrs. Cook ask.
"Hmm?" I turned my head to face Mrs. Cook. Everyone was standing, ready to go, except me. "Oh yeah sorry." I quickly stood up, and walked with them. I glanced over my shoulder one last time to see the couple was staring at me. I forced my head to look forward, and to pretend I hadn't notice them. Although, that was a lot easier said then done. There was just something about the men and women that sent chills down my spine. It made me feel as though I had known them my whole life.
