"Who's that?" B-Dad had come out from the other room. I felt relieved.
"I don't know?"
"Okay. You stay here, I'll be right back."
"Okay."
He left the room, but he had left the wall open. I tiptoed over, and peaked my head out, so I could see who it was.
A few minutes later B-Dad started walking back. I quickly sat down, and pretending nothing happened.
"So who was it?" I asked when he walked in the door.
"I think you know who."
I was confused at first. Then I knew what he meant. It was Zach! He had come back just like he promised!
"Zach! What are you doing back?"
"What you didn't believe I would come back?" He glared at me, with a slight smirk on his face.
"No, I just didn't think you'd be back so soon." I smiled. I was so glad to see him! I didn't care how unreal this felt, I was just so happy!
Zach then came closer to me, and gave me a nice big warm hug. It felt so welcoming. This is one reason why I love him! He gives the best hugs, and gives tons of love.
"Okay guys, I want you to stay here for a little bit." B-Dad had mentioned while we were hugging.
We both agreed to the idea. First of all we don't have any other place to sleep, and second of all, I'm too scared to sleep outside. Who knows what might happen.
"Zach would you like something to eat?"
"Yes that would be lovely B-Dad, thank you."
Zach and I both sat down, and started chatting while B-Dad got some food for us.
"So Zach, how did you get out so quickly?"
"Well they realized you were missing, so everyone was distracted."
"So." I inturupted.
"So, I was able to sneak out, and come back here."
"Alright here's some food." B-Dad exclaimed happily placing down trays of food infront of us.
"So Zach."
"Yeah?"
"If you escaped while everyone was distracted, did anyone see you?"
"Um, no, at least I don't think anyone did."
"Okay you both are definitely staying here for a little while. I can't chance you two being caught again, understand?"
"Yes." Zach, and I said at the same time.
"What're you guys waiting for? Dig in!"
We had some delicious barbecue chicken wings, with homemade cheese pizza, double chocolate strawberry cake, and some juicy mini hamburgers. It was a lot of food, but it was delicious!
"Alright I want you two to head off to bed, and get some rest."
"Okay, but where do we sleep?" I asked curiously, but feeling lost, and stupid at the same time.
"Zach will show you."
"Okay, cool, um thanks."
Zach signalled me to follow him. We went into another private room. I felt very safe compared to the open outdoors.
"Alright there's the beds over there, and if you get hungry there's food here, and if you get bored there's a tv, and video games over there."
"Uh what if I have to go to the bathroom?"
"Oh that's right here." He opened a door that lead to the bathroom.
"Okay awesome, thanks Zach."
"Eh no problem. What would you uh like to do?"
"Would you like to watch a movie, and drink hot chocolate?"
"Sounds good, I'll make the hot chocolate, you can get the movie set up."
"Alright awesome."
