Jay's POV

We got home and the fans were absolutely ecstatic that I was healthy and happy. Thinking of them brought up one question I didn't like asking. How will they react to me and Nathan?

I asked him that one day.

He rolled his eyes. "Not that big of a deal, Bird. I mean, sure, we might lose some fans. Lost popularity. But it won't change us."

"Scooter will yell at us about having to stay focused," I joked.

He smiled. "See? Happy attitude. Don't worry about it. In fact, let's do a twitcam right now."

I sat next to him on the bed as he pulled up twitter on his laptop. "But I'm in my pyjamas and it's 11 at night! And no one knows about it!"

"They'll find us."

Sure enough, the thousands of viewers kept increasing as we went with the twitcam.

"Hey everyone," Nathan said. Many people tweeted back a hello.

"A little Jaythan twitcam here," I said, putting my arm around Nathan jokingly. I went to move away as tweets exploded with Jaythan comments, but Nath held my hand in place, smiling at me.

"We have a little announcement to make," he said.

"We told the boys, obviously. But we thought that before any press or anything, we should tell you, the fans," I said. People tweeted about how sweet and caring I was.

"So here it is! I'm sorry if you hate us for this, I'm sorry if this ruins your day. But Jay and I are in love," Nathan announced.

You could hear the reaction in the air.

KABOOM!

A million tweets at once, most of them supportive, some hate. I tried to ignore the hate that popped up.

"How did we figure it out? Well, I was in a coma. Nathan visited me every day. One time he slipped loose that he loved me. I was conscious in the coma, but I couldn't move or reply. I thought about it, and, well, I love him too. When I woke up I realised there was no one I'd rather be with than him," I told them. I was telling Nathan, too, because I hadn't told him this before.

Nathan rubbed his thumb across my knuckles. "I felt empty and sad without Bird here. I knew I was attracted to him, but I refused to think about myself being gay until, in a heated argument with the boys, I let it slip. I then faced everything and decided yes, I was in love with a man. I almost refused to go on tour. When he returned, I knew. I just knew that there was no question in my feelings. I lied and dodged around it, but we opened up to each other and here we are."

I yawned. Nathan grinned at me. His eyes told me that he thought I was adorable, that he was utterly devoted to me and so completely lost in love. I realised my eyes probably reflected that.

"Well, I'm tired, so we're going to go to bed. Not like that you little dirty minded freaks!" I said, laughing at them.

"Thanks for your support. See you all soon! Night night." Nathan blew them a kiss before closing the laptop.

I settled into bed, under the covers. Nathan balled his little fists up in my shirt as he kissed me, slowly and sweetly. I closed my eyes.

"I love you," I whispered.

He kissed both of my eyelids before replying. "I love you too, Jay."
