“It’s a boy, congratulations” she smiled handing him over to me. I looked over at Aston to see him looking at his face, tears filled up in his eyes. I tore my gaze from his and looked down at the little boy in my arms. Just looking at his little face was clear whose baby it was…

Astons.

The lightly tanned skin, with a lot of Aston’s features made it undeniable that it was his baby. I couldn’t keep the grin off that spread across my face as I looked up to Aston just in time to see a tear roll down his cheek. I slowly took a hand of our baby and lifted it up to his face to wipe away his tear.

“It’s yours.” I whispered.

“Thank you.” he grinned looking up at me.

“Why are you thanking me?” I asked confused.

“You gave me a little boy.” he whispered, stroking his cheek.

“Here, hold him.” I smiled, slowly moving the baby forward and placing him in his arms.

“We need to think of a name for him.” I said, of course we’d forget the name.

“I like the name Jayden.” he said randomly, looking up at me. Hm, Jayden? It’s a cute name.

“I love it.” I grinned looking up at him.

“Really?” he asked looking shocked.

“Really,” I smiled. “Jayden Merrygold” 

“I’m going to go and call my parents and yours then tell the boys and girls.” he smiled kissing my head.

“Ok, don’t be too long?” I asked, looking up at him.

“I’ll be as quick as I can.” he laughed before leaving the room. I looked down at our little boy in my arms. He had a slight tuff of hair that made him look more adorable.

“You’re so cute,” I whispered, running my finger down the side of his face. “And I’m not gonna let anyone hurt you, Ben, no one.” he opened his eyes and looked up at me, his eyes were green, like mine, but had flecks of brown in obviously from Aston. The thought still scared me though, I’m a mother. I leant my head down to kiss Jayden on the head when I heard the door open, I looked up to see Aston walking in, he still had a smiled on his face, and it was quite obvious that wasn’t going to be leaving anytime soon.

“I called our parents but I just sent a text to the others.” he smiled walking back over to us.

“Are our parents coming?”

“Yeah, they’ll be here this afternoon.” he said as he sat beside me.

“Can I take a picture to post on twitter?” he asked.

“Yeah, just don’t get me in, I look a mess.” I laughed, lifting my hand up to flatten my hair that was sticking up all over the place.

“You don’t look a mess but ok, if you insist.” I looked down making sure I wouldn’t be in the picture, I heard the snap of the camera making me look up to see him grinning at his phone.

“Baby Merrygold is finally here! Mummy and baby are well, I’m a daddy, aha, ansaaa. And tweet.” he laughed looking up from his phone.

“I’m gonna head home and get some clothes for you and Jayden.” he smiled, quickly kissing me before planting a kiss on Jayden’s head before leaving. 

Aston returned from going home pretty quickly. He had a little white baby grow for Jayden and some comfy clothes for me.

“Do you want to dress him?” I asked watching as his face lit up.

“Yeah.” he grinned.

“Ok, I’ll go get changed out of these then.” I smiled, handing him Jayden before getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom so I could change out of these clothes. When I came back out, Aston was sat on the chair beside the bed holding Jayden and just looking down at him, talking to him. In all honesty, I was so glad that the baby was his and not Ben’s. I know he would have still treat it like his own but inside he’d have wanted it to have been his more than anything in the world. It would have killed me aswell watching him bring up a child that was not only his, but someone who killed my first boyfriend and raped me. I walked back over to the bed and sat down getting comfortable.

“I’m guessing our parents are gonna be here soon.” I said.

“Yeah, I’m not sure when but they’re definitely coming.” he smiled.

“I’m glad the baby’s yours.” I smiled back.

“So am I, I’m also glad that we don’t have to tell everyone you were raped if it wasn’t mine.” he frowned.

“Hey, let’s not talk about it, it’s not his, it’s yours, we can forget about that now.” I grinned.

“Yeah, I guess we can.” he smiled leaning forward and planting a kiss on my lips.
