Part 46

ASTONS P.O.V

It was the next day and I was sat on the chair beside both the hospital bed and the baby crib. Our parents had just been but soon left. Alexis was currently asleep in the bed beside me, I don't blame her, it's been a long two days. I looked over the crib to see my little boys sleeping. Mine. He's my baby, not Ben's, mine. Words can't really describe how happy I am that this baby is mine. I slowly leant over the side of the crib and picked up Jayden. His little eyes flickered open showing his green eyes that were flickered with brown. He's perfect. Just then, he started crying making me jump slightly. I looked over at Alexis to see her just waking up.

"He's crying, what's wrong?" I panicked.

"He's probably just hungry." she laughed. 

After we'd fed and changed Jayden, the nurse came back into the room.

"When can we go home?" Alexis asked.

"After I've finished in here you can leave." she smiled whilst checking Jayden.

"Ok, thank you." Alexis smiled.

"I'll start packing up the bags then." I said, walking over towards the bags to start putting Alexis' clothes in as well as the ones Jayden had worn.

"Thanks." she smiled. 

"How are we getting Jayden out the front without the paps seeing him?" I asked, sitting on the bed beside Alexis once the nurse had left the room.

"We could cover him up and then you hide him whilst I get the car door open?" she asked, wrapping Jayden up in his little coat.

"Yeah, we'll do that, I just don't want him in the limelight or the paps taking pictures of him especially when he's only a day old." I said making her nod her head in agreement.

"Come on then, let's go." I smiled, grabbing the seat that I'd bought her yesterday where Jayden was sat in, then I took Alexis' hand.

"Go straight to the back of the car, get in then I'll pass Jayden into you, ok?" I said.

"Ok." she confirmed.

We made our way out the door of the room we were in and walking down the hallway, once we arrived at the reception, we thanked the staff who'd helped us before walking up to the doors.

"Come on then." I pushed the door open, letting her out before me.

Of course, the paps were there trying to get as many pictures as they could. I tried my best to hide Jayden from then whilst Alexis led the way through them and up to our car. She ran straight and got into the back like i'd told her and left the door open. I placed Jayden into the back as gently as I could before shutting the door behind me and getting in the front as I tried my hardest to push my way through the paps surrounding us.

"It's weird not having you infront with me." I said looking at Alexis in the back through the mirror.

"It feels weird sitting back here never mind in the front." she laughed.

I watched her as she tore her gaze from mine in the mirror and it landed on Jayden who was lying there asleep. The adoration on her face as she looked at him was amazing, she adored him and how much she loved him was evident on her face. 

NORMAL P.O.V

We arrived home from the hospital, Aston was automatically at the door getting Jayden whilst I got out of my side and shut the door. I followed him up the path, he handed my Jayden's car seat as he opened the door so we could get into the house.

"You know, we should invite everyone around so they can see our boy." he said, setting the keys on the table beside the door.

"Yeah, we should, can you phone them?" I asked, walking into the living room and sitting on the couch whilst setting Jayden beside me so I could get him out.

"I will, two minutes." he smiled, kissing my head and leaving.

"You are such a good boy aren't you? You barely cry." I cooed snuggling up to him. It was weird thinking that now, I was a mother. I had a little boy, but he was perfect and I wouldn't swap him for the world.
