Part 58

NORMAL P.O.V

"We found Ben. He was on the run, we caught him just as he got to the airport. And as Alexis confirmed it was him to started the fire and told us everything he's done, we can assure you both he will be going to jail and there's a good chance he will be there for a long time." The police officer smiled before he stood up from his seat on the couch.

"Thank you so much." I smiled, following him off the couch and too the door.

"It's no problem ma'am. Do you have any questions you'd like to ask?" he asked me, smiling politely.

"Not that I can think of, just, thank you for finding him." I smiled.

"It's no problem, have a nice evening." he said before walking through the door.

"Thank you, you too." I called back before shutting the front door and locking it before turning around and going into the living room. 

It had been a week since I was released from the hospital. I had to stay in there for a while due to been in a coma for a while due to the injuries I had left from the fire and Ben. The police had been in to talk to me the night I woke up to ask me what happened and who did it. That's how they found Ben. He had to get rid of all the evidence that he had done it before he went on the run, unluckily for him, he got caught before he could even board the plane and leave. He deserved everything he has coming for him and I hope he never gets out of jail.

I picked Jayden up from his moses basket and held him to my chest. Ever since I woke up, I just wanted him with me, I never wanted to have to leave him again.

"Are you ok?" Aston asked wrapping his arms around my waist from behind.

"I'm fine." I smiled, leaning my head back to kiss him. I turned my head back around to look at Jayden, who was in my arms. He looked up at me, his eyes wide. He really was beautiful, he had a mixture of both me and Ast in him.

"He's gonna be a heartbreaker when he's older." Aston said, resting his head on my shoulder.

"He sure is.. I missed you both so much." I whispered, tears filling my eyes as I stroked Jayden's soft cheek.

"We missed you so much too, and we both love you so much." he said, planting a kiss on my shoulder.

"Put Jayden down and come with me." Ast said, taking his arms from around my waist.

"I don't want to leave him though." I panicked, turning to look at him.

"We're just going into the back garden, he'll be fine, the doors locked and we're just out back." He took Jayden from my arms and put him in his moses basket before grabbing my hand and taking me out back. 

I gasped when I saw the back garden. The lights in the pool had been turned on and the small lights on the floor at both sides of the path were turned on giving it a blue glow. The little lights surrounded the shrubs and bushed were also on making them glow. It looked so cute. 

"Wow." I gasped, looking around in shock.

"Do you like it?" Ast asked.

"Like it? I love it, it's so cute and romantic." I grinned. When I turned around, Ast was on his knees. I felt my eyes widen as I looked down at him.

"Before Ben took you, I didn't know what it felt like to lose something you really loved. It hurt, and the thought of never seeing you again, hearing you voice or looking into your eyes, made my heart break. That's when I knew I had to do something, I can't risk losing you again, I don't want to feel the pain of thinking I'm going to lose you and never see you again. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So, will you marry me?" he asked, nervously as he opened the little black box he was holding. Inside the box was a gorgeous, silver engagement ring that looked ridiculously expensive.

"Yes." I grinned, he slipped the ring on my finger before standing up, wrapping his arms around me and spinning me around.

"Thank you, I love you so much." he whispered as he put me back on the ground.

"I love you too." I grinned, pulling back and kissing him. My life was finally perfect and I wouldn't change a thing.
