All hell broke loose as the alarm bells around the pack went off. I got dressed and, once done, jump out the window, landing gracefully on my feet and scanning the area. Fighting werewolves were scattered all over, yet this battle was missing something compared to the Rough Battle we'd fought last time; no one has been killed. The Alpha King knew that if any of his wolves had killed even one of my family members, then I'd never have talked to him again.

But the first thing I did was look around for the children. My eyes immediately zoned in on the children surrounded by our Warriors. Senior Beta Anthony is in middle with his son, the new Beta Conner. They striked out at any of the enemy wolves that got close enough to hurt. Rosie was also there by their side, her small wolf dashing from wolf to wolf and taking them down while Anthony watched her and fought his own battles.

I ran over to them, taking out many wolves in the process. "Take them to the emergency shelter," I said loudly, kicking a wolf in the head and knocking him unconscious.

They all blinked at me. "What about you?" Anthony demanded, growling and ramming into a wolf that was sneaking up on Rosie.

Her cream colored wolf grinned at him and turned the same cream colored eyes as her daughter, Dalon, on me with a questioning look.

I flashed my reassuring smile at them. "It's okay, Rosie. I'll be fine," I laughed, proving my point as I take down over five werewolves all at once. "Go on," I urged. "They need you. Besides, your grandchildren will need your protection."

When they took down a couple wolves they turned confused frowns to me while the other Warriors had their back. They cast each other a look. "What grandchildren?" Anthony asked me for himself and for Rosie.

I was filled with regret. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I thought you two knew about . . . " My eyes slid over to their youngest child Dalon out of the triplets, and the only girl.

Their bulging eyes flashed to where her wolf stood as a shield around the children while keeping them calm. Their already tensed bodies tensed even more as even more of the enemy wolves swarmed around us.

"Don't worry, they won't go after you. They're here for me."

They knew I was right, but I was the Alphas daughter, which made me a priority.

Knowing they were going to try and stop me, I speed away, laughing loudly. "Come and get me!" I hollered over my shoulder.

Like I predicted the werewolves followed me and left everyone alone. Good. They'll be safer that way.

I smiled, turning and running through all the wolves, raising my arms, yelling, "I'm what you want! Come out and get me!"

I ran as far as I could from my family to the deepest, darkest parts of the forest. Wolves of all different colors surrounded me, eyes not meeting mine and not coming any closer.

I couldn't help but smile. These wolves came here for me, yet they kept their distance and not dare to meet my eyes. Then again it's probably because they don't want to disrespect their Alpha King by checking out his mate.

I laughed like a girl as a figure landed right beside me. 'You really thought I'd just leave you alone with all these males?' he asked sarcastically through our mind-link.

"Zach, you're too protective," I teased, bumping my shoulder against his. He turned so that we were back to back.

He snorted. 'Bella, I'm your brother,' he deadpanned. 'I'm supposed to be protective of my little sister.'

I scowled. "Only by a second."

'Still means I'm older.'

I looked over at Zach, secretly smiling. Zach was a wolf, fur between brown and black; the biggest wolf of them all. From above the hoot of an owl and the cry of a eagle made everyone look up.
