Nobody can really understand why they feel all these different kinds of emotions. Sure, an act or thought or words can conjure these feelings, but where they were created and why remains unsolved to this day.

Emotions such as anger, hurt, pain, jealousy, nervousness, anxiety, surprise, aversion, courage, acceptance, anticipation, disgust, joy, fear, sadness, rejection, desire, despair, fear, hate or hope, sadness, love.

I was most likely feeling most of these things.

'You're okay, sis. Just calm down, take deep breaths, and don't go bananas,' I heard Zach say through our mind–link.

That got me in a better mood. With every breath I took calmed me down, and as I did so did the circle of fire surrounding me.

Once all the flames dispersed I looked up at Ray circling above, speaking calmly as I reminded my mom of her own mate. "Vincent was a powerful and dangerous Vampire Prince before he met you, tearing down towns, killing people – that all changed when he delivered you from birth; his heart changed" – glancing at them from the corner of my eye then back up – "because his love was so strong for you that anything was possible for him. "

"Your biological parents, Jane and Gregory, along with their best friends" – which are Vincent's parents – "Coraline and Greyson, thought you would be in danger. They sent you away to live with your mother's twin, Helen Swan Williams, with her mate, Walter Williams, and their three young sons, Alex, Derrick and Paul."

I suck in a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"So I'm going to try to be with the Alpha King, and, if in the end he doesn't love me enough to change, then I'll officially reject him." I walk over to my mom and held her hands. "I want to thank you for being so worried about me, and for loving me so much that sometimes you seriously lose your marbles."

Everyone laughed at my last sentence. I gave my mom a small smile that made her smile. My mom rose a hand and gently touched my face.

"You're so beautiful," she said, dazed. "You and your brother both."

I laugh, shaking my head and brought my brother and dad into a hug.

"I love all of you so much," I laugh lightly.

"We love you, Bella," Vincent said.

Ellie sighs and looks at Vincent. They stared at each other before Vincent nods.

"The Alpha King can help out," Ellie replied with a defeated sigh.

"Yes," Alpha Sean's son replied.

Alpha Adrian and Alex said, "Yes."

Derrick nods, and his son Ethan, who is now the Alpha, nodded his head. "Yes."

"Yes," Alpha Jeremy agreed and his father, Paul, agreed as well.

"Don't have to ask us," Damon's son, Carper, said. Damon winked at me and I him.

That was everyone. "Thank you for giving him a chance!" I thanked. I gave each person a hug.

My mom cleared her throat when I was done. "It will take time to be comfortable around him after all that he's done."

"Definitely," Vincent agrees instantly.

Smiling, I get ready to leave but stop as my brother starts to follow me. "And where do you think you're going?" I ask playfully, nonchalantly walking forward with swinging arms.

"With you, of course," he deadpans while taking hold of my hand and swinging his arms too.

We head off together, taking only an hour since we're much faster than average werewolves and vampires. Once we arrived at the Alpha King's territory, I walked right through his force field.
