A few hours later Luke found himself sitting alone in the coffee shop. He was able to ignore the pestering Michael and the loud growling of his stomach.

He stared across the room, at a booth by the window was the group of friends he was suppose to meet with. Well, they were more friends of his friend but his friend didn't show up so he didn't bother sitting with them.

He glanced down messing with the sleeves of his hoodie. He could hear them laughing and gossiping, he could even feel their judging eyes land on him at random points of time.

"He's such a freak." Said a females voice, followed by laughter. Luke winced and sniffled looking up and away toward the door.

"Ignore them Lukey!" Michael cheerfully said. He was lounging in the booth seat across from the table. Luke couldn't even see anything belonging to Michael, but he knew he was there from the consultant babbling coming from him.

Luke looked back at his phone, hoping he missed the message from his friend that would have said 'can't make it.' But nothing, no missed calls, no new texts.

He pulled out his list, along with a pen. He laid it flat on the table and started to cross off some of the items off.

Michaels head perked up over the table, he wiggled his eyebrows wildly before he jumped up in an upright position. He slammed his hands on the table, making Luke flinch and stare with wide startled eyes that turned into ones of unamusement.

Michael glared at the teens giggling at the weird acting Luke, they couldn't see Michael, so they only saw Luke randomly jumping for no reason.

"So Alex was a no show." Michael wiggled his fingers on the table, making them tap heavily. "I never liked him anyways," he added as He slowly turned his face to look at the frowning Luke. It saddened Michael to see that he's rarely seen Luke smiling now days, Luke was beautiful when he smiled.

"It's not his fault. It's the situation..." Luke in a monotone, looking back down at his list. "It just makes people ...uncomfortable.."

Michael rolled his eyes, looking down at Lukes boring list. "Hm, no. He's just a bitch." A toothy grin spread across Michaels face.

Michael watched Luke start to scribble on the paper. He leaned up and forward in the seat, trying to see what he was writing. "What are you doing?" Curiously asked Michael.

"I just remembered I need to take some books back to the library.." Luke answered as he scribbled down some words.

Michael scoffed, his hand dropped down Infront of Luke, Palm facing upwards. His fingers wiggled, "gimme that." He demanded.

Luke furrowed his brows together in confusion. He slowly put down his pen, knowing if he didn't remove the list in time from the table top, Michael would snatch it away.

"Let me see it." Michael demanded again, yanking it from Lukes fingers just as Luke picked it up off the table. Grinning in triump Michael quickly held the paper in both hands under his mouth.

He proceeded to blow on the edge, making the sound as if it was ripping while he pretended to rip it in half. Luke gasped and yanked it from Michaels hands, getting a groan from the shorter pale boy. "Your list is stupid!"

"Excuse me?" Questioned, trying to defend one his little list. He stared down Michael with a warning gaze.

"In less then 24 hours you are going to be locked away in some crappy state prison, and what are you doing? Chores." Michael started to glance around as if looking for something.

Luke, with a deeper frown, shook his head. He folded up the list and shoved it back into his pocket as he stood up. He headed for the door, finally deciding his 'friend' was going to be a no show.
