Undoubtedly, it is important that people choose a career when they are still young. Parents nowadays tend to ask what career their children are interested in. Many reply doctors, lawyers and teachers too. Why do they say so?
Well, one of the factors of choosing a career is influence of parent. This is neither good nor bad. One may 'force' their child to choose a certain career without knowing that they hate it. Besides, a child may follow their father's footsteps.
There are many kinds of career. For instance, pilot, lecturer, scientist, engineer and biologist. Why do people insist on their career of their choice? Well, it's passion. They do it and love it. They get to do what they want. What's important is that they get to serve the nation in their own way.
In a nutshell, I agree that it is important that people choose a career when they are still young. This gives them much time to consider a particular career. However parents should not force their child to the career the parents like. In, my opinion, every career is the same as long as it is for the sake of the people. So, let them choose their career themselves. It would be the best for them.
