I have read a lot of books but there is one that stands out of the rest. 'The Blood of Olympus' by Rick Riordan is the fifth book in the series, Heroes of Olympus. This book will really keep the records turning the pages.
The character that I like most is Leo Valdez, a demigod and a son of the Greek God of crafting. Leo is an optimistic boy. His mother was killed in a fire in front of his eyes. But, it does not stop him from saving the world. For me, Leo can be inspiration for every teenager.
The character that I dislike most is Gaia the Greek Goddess of Nature. She is also the sinister behind the death of Leo's mother. I dislike Gaia because although she is immortal, she is not smart enough to even beat seven half-bloods. (Including Leo)
To sum up, the characters in the book give me inspiration. Besides that, I also have learnt that we should be smart to use our implanted knowledge. I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone.
