I refer to the newspaper article 'S'pore luring top medical grads' (The Star, 26 March 2016).
Firstly, I have to say something for non-Muslim Malaysian students. Majority of our excellent students are not Muslims. Even though their results are better than their Muslim friends, their application are not accepted by our public university compare to the Muslims who were accepted. I do not mean to be an extremist, but that is the truth. Sometimes truth hurts you know?
From the article, I have known that the authorities were not happy with the action of Singapore. What I have to say was 'Good Game Well Played', Singapore. I agree with their action. They have to right to do so. They do so for their nation's future. As you can see, top 20 to 30 of UM and UKM medical students will be working in UMMC (University of Malaya Medical Centre)-that is what they are going to work on, probably. Oh please, the currency of Singapore Dollar is higher than Ringgit Malaysia. Who would like to work in Malaysia, when you can earn $5000 in Singapore but is RM 15, 000 in Ringgit Malaysia?
Since that our hard works are not appreciated here, Singapore has the rights to lure top medical graduates.
In a nutshell, I hope that the hard works of Non-Muslims is appreciated. We work very hard but it is not us we are acknowledged, it is those who just sit and wait for 'rezeki' (sustenance) drop from the sky.
