Going through school life is the most important stage of life. I am going to enter Secondary 3 by 2016. In my country, Malaysia, we have five forms in secondary school and two optional forms (Lower and Upper 6 which is equivalent to College). I am always to the academic side. However, I will try to get involve in some Co-curriculum activities. It is extremely important. In this part, I am going to tell a little about Academic and Co-curriculum.
Academic is very important. It determines your job. If you do not believe me, you can ask your parents. I assume in the future, life will be pathetic for those without a single academic certificate. There is this statement which came from my grandaunt. She told us that a doctor can be a fish monger. However, a fish monger cannot be a doctor. What do you think about this? Leave comments to share your view.
On the other hand, co-curriculum is now very important in my country. Some universities consider your co-curriculum achievements (At least 20%) whether to give you a place. Besides, I would recommend those who are not good in academic, to take part actively in co-curriculum activities. This will make you widely recognised by the school teachers.
All in all, both academic and co-curriculum are important. You must be able to manage your time for both. However, personally, academic outweighs co-curriculum. If you are curious or interested in my school life, you can private message me.
