Stefan's POV

After hearing Elena's vows and reading my own, I was, undeniably, a mess. I was a mess who was completely in love with Elena, my very soon-to-be wife. Words couldn't describe how much I loved her, and words also couldn't describe how beautiful she looked in her wedding dress. If it could, my jaw would've dropped to floor when my eyes first got a glimpse of her. Stunning, gorgeous, beautiful, none of those words showed the extent of how amazing she looked.
"With great pleasure, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," the priest announced. I wasted no time in wrapping my arms around Elena's waist and drawing us both in for our first kiss as husband and wife. During the passionate embrace, Elena's arms moved up and wrapped loosely around my neck. As we pulled apart, we both smiled widely, and all you could hear was cheers from the family. I took Elena's graceful hand in my own as we both turned to face everyone. We started to walk back down the aisle hand-in-hand when we heard Isabella.
"Mummy! Daddy!" It may have been a little loud with the clapping but we, nor anyone else, failed to hear our daughter's cheerful calls to us.
"Come here, honey," I gestured her over, and she ran right up to us. I picked her up and held her with one hand whilst the other one still clung to Elena's. Caroline passed Bethany over to Elena, so that all four of us could walk into our new lives together.
"We just got married!" A smile was plastered on her face as she cheered.
We were escorted into a room where we waited for everyone. I placed Isabella down on the floor and watched intently as she walked off and sat on one of the many chairs in the room. Once Bethany saw her big sister walk off, she immediately wiggled in Elena's arms, before being let down to play with her sister. I wrapped my arm around my wife's waist as we contently watched Isabella run and Bethany crawl around. She rested her head on my shoulder, allowing me to gently kiss her head.
Eventually everyone joined us, we greeted everyone as they came in and thanked them for coming. There was a lot of hugging for the both of us from tearful family members or excited friends. I was still in shock over everything that's happened, I never would have thought I'd end up with such a perfect wife.
About twenty minutes later we were all led into the dining hall, which was laid out exactly how we'd planned. Isabella wasn't going to be sitting with us, which did upset me a little, as she was going to sit with Caroline and Bonnie. Bethany, on the other hand, would be with us since she was still quite young and needed to be looked after more.
Elena's father, Damon, Caroline, Bonnie and I were all giving out speeches once everyone had settled down. To be honest, I was a little nervous since I've always hated talking to massive crowds of people. But, what I wasn't and never would be afraid of, was presenting my love for Elena to masses of people.
Before I knew it, Damon was standing up and clearing his throat a little before he started.
"Okay hi everyone, a lot of you don't know me but I'm Stefan's older brother. I can't explain to you all how much of a perfect pair these two are.  I've only known Elena for a short time but I definitely know that Stefan deserves someone as amazing as you. Stefan, you are the best brother anyone could ever ask for, we may have fought sometimes but I believe it just made our bond stronger." By this time a few tears managed to fall from my eyes. Since Damon had to make a speech as he was the best man, I assumed he'd have some funny comments to say, but instead he was making me cry. Elena's hand gently touched my shoulder, so I turned to her and wrapped my arm around her waist. Her chin rested on my shoulder as she continued to watch Damon.
"So I want to say cheers to the happy couple, and I wish you many years of happiness!" Damon said as he, and everyone else in the room, raised their glasses. I caught Damon's eye contact as he sat down, so I nodded appreciatively and mouthed 'thank you' towards him. He nodded back with understanding and smiled before sitting down.
"Thank you Damon, now I'm Elena's father, as you all know," he lightly chuckled to himself. He looked like he was on the verge of crying; he was taking steady breaths to compose himself. It didn't work as he started crying but thankfully Elena got up. She walked over to him, held his hands and whispered a few things to him. Whatever she said worked as by the time she was finished they were both hugging. I understood why he was crying because I knew I would be the same at Bethany and Isabella's weddings. He didn't want to lose his little girl. Within a few seconds she'd sat back down next to me, taking my hand in hers.
"Elena has literally been the world's best daughter, and she deserves so much happiness in her life. As every father will know, you don't want your little girl to leave the nest and fly out on her own. I never did want you to leave but now I'm happy to see you flying away from the nest with such a loyal man by your side. I'm proud of you both, of how you've both raised your children perfectly, and of how your relationship is rock solid. You're each other's rock and Miranda and I can't explain how happy we are that you've both gotten married. We wish you both the very best in life," he finished. Tears were trickling down Elena's face, so I gently wiped them away with my thumb and kissed her cheek. She blushed and smiled cutely as she normally does. Now it was my turn to declare my ever-growing love for my beautiful wife. I stood, holding Elena's hand, and saw the welcoming faces of everyone in the room.
"Saying that Elena is my wife is beyond surreal for me since I never thought it was possible for me to meet someone as incredible as her. Elena and our children are my world, and I never want to imagine my life, for even a second, with out them. She's the reason I wake up with a smile on my face, the reason why I'm the person I am today, she's definitely the reason as to why my life has been worthwhile..." I finished and looked down to see my beautiful wife, smiling and crying at the same time. She stood up next to me, her hand still laced with mine.
"I love you, more than you'll ever know." She said before kissing my lips with passion, love and gentleness.
"And I love you so much, Elena Salvatore." She smiled at the last part and reconnected our lips once again.
"I love it, but I love you more," she smiled against my lips. We shared a small kiss before we realised the amount of people watching us. Elena let out a small laugh before a series of 'aw's were produced from family members. We sat down and Elena placed her head back onto my shoulder as my arm wrapped around her waist. Next was Caroline and Bonnie's speech, they were both nervous about their speeches so they decided to do a joint one.
"Hey, Caroline and Bonnie here. We just wanted to say a few words about the happy couple, so here they go. We've know Elena for pretty much our whole lives and the three of would spend literally every waking second with each other. We were like the three amigos who gossiped about everything together, did everything together, and went through thick and thin together. When Elena first told us she was dating Stefan, who she talked about non-stop before they'd even spoken to one another, we were both so happy. We still talked literally all of the time but a lot of the time it was Bonnie and I trying to get information out of her about their relationship. It was nice to see Elena so happy, and when she spoke to us about their dates, you should've seen the excitement in her eyes. We've both known that she loves you Stefan for a pretty long time which is why we know you're both perfect for each other." Caroline finished as she passed her microphone over to Bonnie. Elena had already started to cry by this point as her cheeks blushed to a light shade of crimson.
"What Caroline said couldn't be more true, I think we say it for everyone here when we say that you guys are perfect. You guys are so strong, courageous and just the best kind of people which is why you fit so perfectly together. You're an inspiration to everyone around you, you both make each other stronger and better and most definitely bring the best out of each other. With this being said, we wish many years of happiness and love," Bonnie concluded with a smile on her face. Tears were still cascading down Elena's beautiful cheeks as my arm still held my grip around my wife's waist.
"I'm so glad I wore waterproof makeup today," she said. I laughed softly with her comment and kissed her temple smiling. Caroline and Bonnie sat down before we all started eating.
