Ah Shady Pines Academy. This school, like many, is only attended to socialize. Sure there is classes with crazy psycho teachers. In all reality if they could they would never come out of their dorm-rooms. The campus is huge and funded fairly well. Although the students take quickly to complaining about their bathroom stalls. You can build a fountain but not put in a screw... seriously?

"Are you new here?" The president of the ninth grade class who is quick to help anyone. "I'm Lauren."

"Um.. Yeah actually I am." He scratches the back of his neck shyly.

"I will just show you around!" Lauren says a little too overbearing.

When Lauren turns to lead him to the quad where students are buzzing. Here comes Hadley, Brooke and Emerson. Before they reach them Hadley and Brooke exchange a quick "he's hot!" Along with girlish squeals.

"Do you want help, Lauren?" They all three ask expecting to be turned down.

"Sure..." She says turning back to them before an idea forms in her head. "You just want to miss class."

"Yup." Hadley says with a nod.

"We were helping Lauren, Mr. Long." Emerson states while Brooke adds, "We will bow at your feet right now, Mr. Long."

"Just don't put Mrs. Long on our trail." Hadley joins in jokingly.

"And this would be Hadley, Brooke and Emerson. This is their first year here too!" She says happily.

"I still think I should be president I would be great at this!" Hadley mumbles to her friends.

"Hush, Hads!" Emerson lightly slaps her shoulder.

"You guys have a nice campus!" The guy says with a nod and a small smile.

"You should see the bathrooms though!" Lauren says dramatically. "This school used to be boys only! The bathrooms still have..." Her face turns red. "They.."

"Urinals! They are called urinals, Lauren!" Hadley bursts out not being able to control it.

"Hadley!" All three of the girls say. She just shrugs them off with a smile. The boy smiles at them all for a second. Particularly his gaze kept going to Brooke. It was just too bad she wasn't looking either of the times.

"Lets just keep going.." Lauren starts once her face turns back to a normal color. "Wait whats your name?"

"Carter." He says not so formally. "I'm in 9th" He meets Brooke's gaze.

"Lets just leave now." She proclaims to her friends. She dramatically starts to leave dragging at least Emerson with her. Brooke and Carter only break eye contact when Hadley grips onto her friends arm and hauls her away.

Lauren turns back to the new kid gesturing to the large black bag, "What's in the bag." She asks.

"A body of course." He says without hesitation.

"A gory body dripping with blood." Someone from behind says poking Lauren in the sides from behind.

"La la la! I hate you!" Lauren whips around narrowing her eyes to be face to face with Ellie. "I know that doesn't have a body in it!" She scoffs but slowly turns back to kick the bag.

Ellie almost instantly recognizes what it is, "Do you play baseball?" He shakes his head no. She frowns. "Football?" He nods. This brings a smile to her face. Slowly she brings her attention back to Lauren. "Coach wants me to practice. However I need my favorite president to unlock it... Can you?"

"Sure but I am showing the new kid around." She mumbles. The excitement of this task is wearing thin.

"You don't have to catch for me if you don't wanna!" Ellie tells her. "I can pitch against the wall." She sighs faking a sad look. However as soon as she sees Lauren she starts laughing. Ellie cannot keep a straight face to save her life.
