The party hit everyone hard. Everyone had stayed up until about 1 o'clock all on their own. Which means that now it was 6 o'clock in the morning. Of course someone had to get up and take a shower first in the rooms. There was enough showers for one person in each room to wake up and get in. Slowly the doors opened one by one. People were grabbing towels from the bathroom closet and rubbing their tired eyes. The funny thing is that no one was even remotely scarred if your towel accidentally fell down. They were all used to it by now. It was the horrible perks of boarding school showers.
Ellie rubbed at her eyes as she sat in the bathroom floor. Even though there should be enough showers someone decided to take hers. It was Janice. That girl was just ticked at Hadley for the most part. However her anger seemed to spread effecting everyone. In that way of Janice going psycho and saying a bunch of crap about Hadley. Sure enough she already had.
Daelyn walks up to Ellie, "Janice is spreading some nasty things about Hadley. She might want to apologize. You should too."
"Nah I think Hadley and I are good. Also I am pretty sure that no one believes a thing that comes out of Janice's mouth." Ellie says. "Also I don't think Hadley even cares."
With that in mind she flips on her phone and clicks on Pandora. Instantly I know what you did last summer by Shawn Mendes comes on. She takes a moment just to praise Jesus for his voice before singing along.
Its tearing me apart
And she's slipping away
Am I just left hanging onto all the words she used to say
The pictures on her phone
And she's not coming home
Comin home comin homeI know what you did last summer
Just lie to me, there's no other
I know what you did last summer
Tell me where you've been
I know what you did last summer
Look me in the eyes my lover
Tell me where you've beenAt this point someone has joined in. Ellie admits to herself that she is a better singer than herself. She looks up to see Sammy. She closes her eyes and slowly looks up knowing exactly who it is.
"Hey, Sammy." She says with a smile.
"Keep singing!" Sammy says to her.
"No, I'm good." Ellie says. "Besides I think you can sing for the both of us."
"Come on!" Sammy begs.
"I don't know the words anyways." Ellie says. While they're talking the song ends. Ellie just wishes she hadn't been talking so she could have heard the whole song. Sammy slowly walks away skeptically.
The next song comes on and at this point Janice comes out of the showers. Without even noticing about three people had already came out. She slips into the shower.
Exactly 20 minutes later Ellie is standing at the bathroom sink french braiding her wet hair down her back. Hide away, by Daya was playing now.
Boys seem to like the girls
That laugh at anything
The ones that get undressed before the second date.
Girls seem to like the boys
Who don't appreciate
All the money and the time that it takesWhere do the good boys go to-
Ellie's phone buzzes. The text was from Carter. He had never replied the night before. All she knew was that Brooke chased after him. Ellie figured that it was safe to say he was ticked and was just ignoring her. She finally heard back from him. The funny thing was that he was the perfect guy. He was funny, kind, a gentleman and had an eight pac. Here was the catch though... Ellie didn't like that. Not in that way. Call her crazy, but she wanted someone who could make her laugh. That was why she ever liked Aiden. Now that was totally ruined. There was no chance she could be with him. Not ever. Or so she thought...
