The News

The school possibly had not been more hated at this time. Everyone had just gotten back to the school after thanksgiving break. Almost everyone was complaining that they needed another month before returning. What a wonderful fantasy. Hadley slowly waddles up to her friends. Brooke was propped up against Carter asleep; Ellie had her head in Audrie's lap while Audrie tried to shove her off. Emerson and Nash were talking about how they hated school more than anything. Hadley decides to sit down beside of Brooke. She was thinking of telling the weird thing she dreamed of over break.

Before she could even say a word someone rushed up behind her. "Hey, Hadley!" Hadley looks over her shoulder to see Margie.

"Hey, Mar!" She says giving her a hug. At this point they all seemed to perk up.

"When did you two get all buddy buddy?" Ellie asks sitting up off of Audrie. She looks between the two of them. "I don't remember either of you ever talking to each other before."

"Over break I guess." Hadley says and sits back down.

"No since she cheated off of me in math class. That is when we became friends." Margie says. They all look between the two new friends before Hadley says what she wanted to say.

"So I had this wicked dream that we went on a trip before thanksgiving break. A few of us got trapped in this secret room, and you guys just left me with Janice, Kennedy and Drake." Hadley pauses to roll her eyes and take a breath. "Although it was okay because I got to beat up everyone so-"

"Yep sounds like a typical Hadley dream." Carter says while rolling his eyes. "Now could you please shut up. I do not want to wake Brooke up while laughing at you stupid dream alot." He rolls his eyes and just smiles at Brooke.

"Ahhh Carter and Brooke sitting in a tree. K I S S I N G!" Ellie sings immaturely.

Hadley smiles and continues, "First comes love then comes marriage-"

"Then comes Carter pushing a baby carriage!" Emerson decides to join in at this point.

"Okay okay! Ya'll can stop now." He mumbles. Brooke shifts under his arms. They all sit expecting her to wake up. However she doesn't.

"So how was the trip back home?" Ellie asks Carter.

"Good." He grits his teeth together. Everyone gives him this expectant look. He looks at Ellie with an annoyed face. "Did you tell everyone?" He groans.

"Maybe just a few people." Ellie says putting her arms around Emerson and Audrie.

"Ugh. Well my parents seemed to like Brooke pretty well. Then again who wouldn't?" Carter says. He carefully pushes back a strand of hair that had fallen across her face. "Of course two days into the trip and ahh.. My mom asked if she was pregnant."

"No way!" Hadley yells rather loudly. Everyone starts to die laughing. By doing this Brooke's eyes flutter open.

"Time to wake up sweetie." Addison appears out of no where. "We just need to do a few more tests before we can tell you if it is a boy or girl."

"What!" Brooke looks frantically around her to see where she is. When she realizes who was speaking and where she was Brooke lets out a sigh of relief. "I am not pregnant." She kicks Addison in the shins. However this just makes Addison start laughing. Brooke rolls her eyes then curls back up. Just like that she was back asleep.

For a long while they sat in silence. They were all tired from school. Even though they had already had a break. By the time they had to get up half of them had fallen back to sleep. Nash slowly pushed Emerson off of him, and pushed her on top of Ellie. Ellie gives him a deadly glare. Now she had both Audrie and Emerson against her.

"Sorry I will explain in like 15 minutes I swear. Take Carter and meet me at the office." Nash says putting both hands on Ellie's face and squishing her cheeks.

"I hate you!" Ellie whisper yells.

"No you don't." He winks at her and then laughs at her mortified expression. "Trust me I am not flirting. I just like picking on you and you are tied down so..." He walks away.

"Okay guys. Wake up any moment now." Ellie yells into her friend's ears.

Carter had barely even believed Ellie when she told him that Nash wanted to meet at the office. If anything in his mind he would have thought behind the gym. They waiting for a good long while before Nash made an appearance. Beside of him a curl with the slightest bit of a frame held tightly onto his hand.

"What happened over break?" Ellie says looking at her holding his hand. Nash follows Ellie's gaze.

"Ew... Gross." The girl pulls her hand away from Nash's. Instantly she bites her lip and avoids everyone's eyes.

"So Nash what is new with you?" Ellie directs her attention to him.

"I cannot believe that you would actually think I was cheating on Em." Nash shakes his head and laughs. "Friends meet my sister."

"You have a sister?" Carter ask dumbfounded. "Bro why didn't you say anything?"

"Because I didn't think she was ever gonna meet you guys." Nash shrugs it off.

"Wow. You could have at least told your best friend about me." The girl says quietly. It was almost as if she was scared to be louder than a whisper. She raises her voice ever so slightly. "You are ashamed of me." She makes a small whimpering sound.

"No I am not." He says putting an arm around her shoulders. The more Ellie stared at them the more she saw their slight resemblances. They both had blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. They even had the same nose. Ellie laughs at that.

"Now what are you laughing about?" Nash says. He was trying to sound threatening. However he ruined it by laughing as well.

"Never mind that." Ellie rolls her eyes. She directs her attention to Nash's sister. "So what's your name?"

She looks slowly to Nash for approval. Slowly and in a very thick Australian accent she responds, "Thea... My name is Thea."
