Mrs. Reese was speaking rather loudly to her class. No one ever seemed to want to listen. No matter how loud she seemed to yell they ignored. By now Thea had been introduced to everyone that Nash was friends with. The girl looked terrified. Nash was speaking with the other guys and being loud as usual. There was no getting the boys to shut up. They were young and stupid.

Ellie's mind wandered to what Nash had asked of her and Carter. Since Carter hardly ever left Brooke's side he was always with the girls. Because of that Nash asked Ellie and Carter to be friends with Thea. After a few conversations with her they realized one thing. Thea was just a little strange.

"So do you have any hobbies?" Ellie asks trying to get Thea to open up.

"Um..." Thea looks around. She practically refused to meet Ellie's eyes. "I like to sing." She points to the front of the classroom. This was choir class. Thea was secretly hoping that Ellie would shut up and leave her alone.

"Fine I get it. I will be quiet. I can take a hint." Ellie says looking straight ahead.

From beside her Brooke spoke up, "You don't get the point of being quiet do you?" She laughs. Ellie rolls her eyes but laughs a little herself.

"You wanna try talking to her?" Ellie whispers.

"It can't be that hard." Brooke states and laughs. Ellie raises her eyebrow questioningly. Brooke just sits there before leaning over to Thea. "Hi. I don't think we have formally met yet." Brooke extends her hand. Thea stares at her hand and redirects her attention to the front. "Alright then."

"See what I mean? It is like talking to a brick wall." Ellie whispers. So far her and Carter were failing at getting to know this girl.

"I wonder if you shoved her she would even notice." Brooke mumbles.

"Hey. This is still Nash's sister." Ellie says shoving Brooke's shoulder gently. Brooke and Ellie occasionally turned to look at Thea. Suddenly an idea came to Brooke.

"Wait... You know who is great at talking to anyone?" Brooke whispers to Ellie. Slowly a smile came to Ellie's face. They both turn to face each other.

"You are a goddess! I could kiss you!" Ellie whisper yells triumphantly.

"Please don't." A look of disgust flashes crosses Brooke's face. "Ew."

Ellie rolls her eyes, "Please. I haven't even let Aiden kiss me yet. Why would I kiss you?"

"Because you love me." Brooke smiles jokingly. Ellie puts an arm around Brooke and lays her head down.

"Should I be worried that my best friend is trying to steal my girl friend?" Carter asks. He wasn't even trying to be quite about it either. A bunch of people turn and laugh as Brooke and Ellie's faces turn bright red.

"I do not roll that way." Ellie shoves Carter hard into the person beside him. That person just happens to be Hadley. Hadley punches him hard in the arm. Beneath her breath Hadley whispers something about Carter being a moron.

Ellie quickly stood up and moved across the room. She sat right beside of Daelyn and Mackenzie. The two of them slowly stopped talking and turned to Ellie. Ellie sat there for a couple seconds. She dared not say anything about Thea yet.

"So... Um hey guys." Ellie scratched the back of her neck.

"Sup?" Daelyn said. Truth be told it sounded more like a question.

"Ok so Thea is new and will not talk to me. I was just thinking since you are great at talking to people that you might get her to open up." Ellie says quickly. Daelyn just stares at her trying to take in what she was asking.

"Sure why not. I need more friends." Daelyn says with a laugh. She stands up and takes the seat where Ellie had been sitting.

Ellie and Mackenzie watch as Daelyn tries attempt number one to get Thea to talk. By the end of the class Daelyn manages to get Thea talking about something. Ellie meets Carter's eyes and gives him a thumbs up. Thea whispers something to Daelyn right as the bell rings. With that she stands up and walks over to Ellie.

"I wish to go to the next class. Please walk with me." Every Word she says is forced. She almost sounds pained . "I can't do this, Daelyn. I'm not good with people. I'm not good at making friends at all."

"Thea, if you consider yourself friends with Daelyn than you can walk with her to class. That kind of is the whole thing about making friends." Ellie laughs. Daelyn smiles and links arms with Thea.

"I would love a new friend. The drama here is unbelievable." Daelyn states to no one in particular. Thea smiles and awkwardly high fives Ellie.

Ellie laughs as Mackenzie, Daelyn and Thea walk out of Mrs. Reese's class. It was as if Daelyn and Thea were born to be friends. Ellie starts laughing at them silently until she snorts. Suddenly she hears someone laugh beside her. They most definitely heard her loud snort. She turns to see Aiden. He laughs harder at the face she makes.

"Oh shut up!" Ellie shoves his shoulder. He laughs and punches her arm gently.

"Permission to put my arm around you?" She gives him a weird look. He watches her as she makes up her mind. Ellie smiles and grabs his arm to put around her shoulders. Slowly she intertwines their fingers. "Wow, you are getting a little frisky. You better let go. This is breaking so many of your no touching boundaries." She laughs quietly to herself.

"It is okay when I hold your hand. It is not okay the other way around." She pokes him in the rib gently. Aiden meets Mason's eyes and a smile appears on his face. "What are you smiling at, weirdo?"

"Look at Mason and Lauren. They are truly adorable." He comments. She pokes him hard in the side. "Ow! Okay besides us." They both laugh.

"I wonder what they are talking about." Ellie says absentmindedly.

They watch the two for a second. Mason looked like he was rambling about something. His words only made Lauren get more and more flustered. Finally he finished what ever he was saying and they both stood completely still. Lauren's face was bright red, and Mason was wringing his hands from anticipation. Once Lauren's face reached a normal color she gave him a big hug. After watching this exchange Aiden and Ellie look at each other and run out of the room.

"Did Mason just ask Lauren out?" Brooke asks Carter. She smiled brightly. It was a known fact that everyone wanted the two to get together. It was as if Lauren and Mason were off limits because one day they were to grow up and get married.

"I think so." Carter laughs and puts his arms around her waist. They stand there and stare at each other. Both refused to make the first move. "Did I suck at trying to be friends with Thea?" Brooke laughs and nods her head yes.

"Get out of my classroom you two lovebirds!" Mrs. Reese yells. She was clearly irritated. With that they left before another word could be said.
