Leaving the theater had literally killed Ellie. She returned to her room finding it empty which was slightly surprising. Aiden had walked her back to her dorm building. He naturally assumed she could make it up the stairs. Her mind wandered to her kiss. Every time it did she smiled. She just couldn't stop. This was her first kiss. Best thing over all is that she made the first move. She never thought she would have that in her. Then there was Nash calling her. She decided she would ignore him for interrupting. He deserved it.

For the time being she decided to text TJ. So for the next 20 minutes that was what she did. That was until there was a light knock at the door. She slowly rolled off the bed and opened the door. There stood the biggest surprise of her life. It was Courtney and Chloe.

"Hi!" Chloe says even waving a little. Courtney flashes her a fake smile. "I hear that you did not take my advice."

"All you said was that it was a pity date.." Ellie mumbles. "I think you lied to me about it."

"Aiden was just playing you, Ellie. The sooner you get that through your thick skull the better." Chloe says and Courtney nods. "Just stay way from him. Kay?" She smiles then walks away. It was no surprise that Courtney whipped right around and followed.

That was when all her friends appeared laughing. Hadley spoke first, "Ew. What were they doing in our room?"

"They told me to stay away from Aiden." She says distantly. Nothing seemed to add up to a pity date. That had to be just a rumor. Aiden showed a general interest in her. At least she thought so.

"That is a lie. He is so into you. You can tell by the way he looked at you after you kissed him." Lauren says taking a drink of her smoothie in her hand. Hadley punches Lauren's shoulder. "Ow! Were we not mentioning the kiss to her?"

"She didn't even know we were there!" Audrie face palms her forehead.

"I cannot believe you guys." Ellie rolls her eyes then smiles. "If I was not in a good mood I would hate you all!"

"You love us and you cannot ever deny it!" Hadley hugs Ellie. Ellie rolls her eyes and shoves her away. She just laughs at them. "Okay goodnight guys!" Hadley shoos everyone who doesn't live in the dorm out. "How was it?" She jumps the chance to ask about the date.

"Yes! Please tell us everything. Even though we were there for most of it!" Audrie says grabbing on to Ellie's arm.

"Well I mean I was rather rude to begin with. Then we started picking out the flaws in the movie. Which is actually more fun than I thought it would be. Dang disney has gone down hill. I liked that he could take my rudeness. I'm not always happy." Ellie takes a breath. "So yeah I feel like I can't stop smiling. He was so sweet to me that there is no way that was just a pity date. After we kissed I kept finding him staring at me with this goofy smile. Then he would catch me. And..." She suddenly remembers that Audrie and Emerson went out together. Like they both went and spent time with each other. "Wait did you and Emerson make up?"

"Yeah actually we did. I was thinking of what Lauren and you told me. So I went and talked to her and then we went and stalked the last 30 some minutes of your date." She says with a wink at the end.

"We should go to bed." Ellie says. She did not want to talk about this anymore. There was still that paranoia thing that that was a pity date. It may have not seemed like it, but he never asked her out on a second one.

"Really?" Hadley says. "You are basically on a sugar high from that kiss. Or should I say an aiden high?"

"No you really shouldn't." Ellie laughs before climbing into the bottom bunk. Hadley climbed up onto the top, and Audrie crawled into her own full sized bed. Audrie leans over and turns the lamp off.
