Chapter 26.

CALUM'S POV.

I cannot believe that she was fucking following me. I know that I've been distant the past couple of day but I never imagined she'd stoop that low. Apparently we didn't have the trust I thought we did.

"FUCK." I punch the wall as hard as I could, instantly yelling as I wince in pain. My body sliding down the wall, falling onto the ground.

"Cal? Calum?" Mali comes frantically running into the room when she hears the noise.

"What in the world? I thought Kam was gonna be here? Calum what's going on." She looks horrified, her eyes darting between me and my now swollen and bleeding hand.

"Cal? Mali?" Before I could respond Luke comes barging in, looking every bit as confused and frightened as my sister.

"Calum what the fuck?" His eyes go wide.

"Kamryn followed me today when I met up with Michelle." My voice is low as I'm more focused on the pain than anything else.

"Oh, shit. No. No. No." Luke curses under his breathe.

"Then the flower shop called and read her the fucking note." I grimace.

"Will somebody please tell me what the hell is going on?" Mali jumps in. "Because if its what it sounds like, I won't hesitate to kick your ass."

"He's not cheating on her."

"Then what was he doing?" Mali looks at him, trying to understand what was going on.

"Its mine and Gabby's 5th anniversary tomorrow and I'm planning on proposing. Calum was helping me out so she wouldn't get suspicious." He runs his hands through his hair, clearly upset at how everything was working out.

"I'm sorry, mate." I apologize.

"Why are you sorry? I'm the one that got you and Kam fighting and a broken hand." He points to the bloody wound.

"Wait, Cal, did you just let her believe that you were cheating on her?" Mali asks.

"I...I didn't deny it, I just wanted her to learn a lesson about making assumptions." I look down at the ground.

"Calum Thomas Hood." She hisses.

"Why is it-" I start to defend myself but she cuts me off.

"You're a jackass."

"But-"

"Stop. I don't are what happened. You let your girlfriend, the best thing that's every happened to you might I add, think that you're cheating on her. How stupid can you be?" She glares at me.

"Luke, take you're idiotic friend to the hospital to get his hand checked out while I go find Kam and do some damage control."

Luke shakes his head as he helps me up off the ground carefully.

"Mali..." I bit my lip.

"What?" She snaps angrily.

"I'm sorry." I mumble feeling terrible at the way I reacted. My temper always gets me in trouble.

"Don't say sorry to me, say sorry to your girlfriend, and that's if I can still convince her to be that. " She turns and walks out the door, leaving me feeling worse then I did before.

To bad there isn't a hospital for stupidity because my ego was hurting way worse then my hand.
