I woke up to the smell of bacon and syrup, my body instantly noticing the dip in the bed where Calum was missing. I frown as I rub my eyes, trying to wake myself up. Last night just lying in his arms was perfect. Tangled legs and stolen kisses, his embrace was like a drug to me. Makes me wonder if I'll ever be able to sleep without him again.

I climb out of Calum's bed and follow the delicious scent into the kitchen where I see my sweet boyfriend attempting to cook breakfast.

I take in the very nice view of a shirtless Calum before tip toeing my way over to him.

"Morning babe." I whisper, wrapping my arms around his waist, placing a trail of kisses on his bare back.

"No...go back to bed." He pouts as he turns around to face me.

"What, why?" I laugh at how upset he was getting.

"Because I wanted to make you breakfast in bed." He whines.

I stifle a giggle as I walk back into the bedroom and wait for him to bring me the food that he was so proud of. Even if it was the nasty thing I've ever tasted, at least he made an effort and to me that's all that mattered.

"Even though you ruined it, I made you breakfast." He says as he brings in a tray with bacon and waffles, a bowl of fruit and some orange juice.

"Smells good." I smile as I take a piece of bacon and pop it in my mouth. "Tastes great too." I comment.

"It was really sweet too, thank you, Cal." I lean over and kiss him.

"You're welcome, babygirl." He smiles.

"So what's on the agenda today?" I ask him when we finish eating

"Whatever you wanna do." He tells me moving the tray of food from the bed so we can lay down.

"Honestly, this is nice."

"Then that's what we'll do." He grins pulling the blankets over our intertwined bodies.

"I wanna shower though..." I say sitting up before I get to comfortable.

"Okay, hurry though." He kisses my shoulder.

"Can borrow some sweats and a shirt? I only brought jeans and I really don't wanna lounge around in them all day."

"Yeah, I'll get you some."

I take a quick shower and get out, finding the clothes I asked for waiting for me on the sink.

"You look so hot right now." Calum smirk when he sees me come into the room.

"I'm in guys pants and an oversized t-shirt. You're nuts." I laugh at him.

"But they're mine and that's such a turn on."

"Calum." I playfully hit him as he shoots me a cheeky grin.

"Just saying." He grabs my waist and pulls me back on the bed with him.

"Michael and Ash told me you're writing more." I rest my head on his chest.

"I am...I've had some pretty good inspiration lately." He looks down at me and smiles.

"Can I hear something?" I ask as I blush from his previous comment.

"Sure." He goes and gets his guitar, then comes back and sits down on the bed across from me.

"I've been working on this song called "Disconnected." He says tuning the strings.

"I admit I'm a bit of a victim in the worldwide system too, but I've found my sweet escape when I'm alone with you."

He begins to strum lightly as he starts to sing a catchy tune.

"Tune out the static sound of the city that never sleeps, here in the moment on the dark side of the screen."

He looks so peaceful as he plays, his eyes closed and it almost looks like he's in his own little world.

"I like the summer rain, I like the sounds you make, we put the world away, we get so disconnected. You are my getaway, you are my favorite place, we put the world away, yeah, we're so disconnected."

He stops and looks at me for a reaction.

"I loved it."

"Really?

"Yes."

It amazed me how he could write something beautiful yet still didn't know how talented he was.

"Am really your favorite place?" I grin as I move myself so I'm on top of him.

"You're my favorite everything." He replies by smashing his lips into mine.
